Literally within the first one minute of the video you could see and hear just how much better the OnePlus' selfie camera and mic is. The stabilization was world's better than the iPhone. Aside from the 4K on the rear which Apple did better with the stabilization option. I think OnePlus definitely made a substantial leap with their camera system. I gotta give it to them - that is a fine piece of hardware for the price. I've been a fan of them ever since I bought the OnePlus X Ceramic, such an amazing phone at the price that it was. And yes, I came here from JerryRigEverything lol.

4k? Yes. I don't and won't look anything past 1080p. In my eyes, 1080p still looks more than good enough. The stabilization is sublime on the OP5. It just gives you everything you need. Dash charge alone is industry leading.

nice comparison - especially taking in account, that lots of reviewers had oposing opinions about it. you mostl settled this argument. i wish though you would focus more on low light on the rear cameras. you did, but only in passing. i for once take lots of photos indoors. and i belive lots of other people do too. most of the time even on bad cameras photos come out decent, as long as they are well lit. so low light is the real differenciating factor. anyways, really good job. thumps up!

My comparison: OnePlus has better Speed, RAM(App power capacity), Graphics(GPU), Screen Quality(AMOLED),Picture Taking, 1080P Recording, 1080P Stabilization, Customization, Fingerprint scanner, speaker, microphone, headphone jack, voice assistant (Google assistant v. Siri) Operating system (subjective), Battery life, Charging time, Price. iPhone 7Plus has better 4K recording, 4k recording stabilization, 3D touch, App Market, Customer service, case selection, external design, upgrade availability, water and dust resistance (both can be water/dust proof with case). Gotta go OnePlus 5 especially because of price. Some people can just buy both though🙄😂

Khristian Ingraham Khristian Ingraham By speed I meant moving around phone, obviously that's in part with not being able to remove transition animations on IOS. If your talking about gaming speeds, you won't notice a difference, but OP5 clocks at 2.45 GHZ, while 7+ does 2.35 GHZ. This is because of the new Qualcomm 835 processor. Unless you do mobile gaming videos or like to play multiple games in short time periods, 6GB Ram is enough, which is offered for even less.

Brandon McLean 7 Plus is still a King when it comes to speed. OnePlus 5 is just faster because of animations, just turn them both off and see what happens. The fact that SD 845's single core performance is weak and renders video slower than the A10.

Magnus Vantrum Maybe speed per core, but iPhone uses less cores to save money. Apple won't give the option to turn off animation anyways because they have something against customization. Even if you could turn off animation, 835 and A10 are ms apart, which isn't noticeable. The only noticeable thing would be the better graphics from the GPU on the OP5, especially with that AMOLED screen

Hani Aljundi I have a Xperia z2, it has two front firing stereo speakers, but due to the water resistance, it sounds really weak. Compared to a nexus 6p also with two front firing speakers but with no water proofing, the volume difference is huge. the speakers on iPhone 7+ are also weaker compared to my nexus6p. Those are the only phone models that I have real world experience with, not sure about the rest.

Unbiased review of the iPhone - AT LAST :D Found You via my favourite test Jerry. Will check out more comparisons - hope the Nokia 8 is around since I cant really get a grip on the reviews on the net where (i)PhoneArena totally bash the entire phone...even durability (which i after Jerrys test know is pure BS) whereas the more trusted GSM arena gives it a good grade. Tried it myself and found the camera to be very competetive but noticed an issue with autofoucs without fingertapping, sent info to Nokia so hope there is a patch coming or allready out on that one.
