Currently 500$ is the territory to buy some really awesome phones ... I mean look at the options, OnePlus 6, Honor 10, Asus Zenfone 5Z. These are some really good phones, the pricing is right for the package, the performance is same as the 1000$ flagships. Almost nothing to complain about these devices, atleast some manufacturers do know how to make a budget friendly flagship devices.

Got the Oneplus 6 and yes the speaker is weak. They updated the phone to have a louder speaker but does distort at mid to high volume. I use an app called Speaker Boost to help even out the volume and distortion. It scales by percentage. About a 10% boost is all you need. Anything above 10 tends to distort the phone's audio. It can't compete with other flagship speakers but it does help with the speaker nonetheless.

Watching on my Silk White 6. Even tho it's a 1080p display, I set the default KZbin solution to 2160p and I gotta say, it looks pretty damn good. I was using a Oneplus 3T for the past two years, so this is my first phone with a notch. Idk what everybody is bitching about, I love it. It's just different than anything I've had before and I think it's cool as hell to be able to wrap the video content around it. Anyway, yeah, this silk white is bomb. It looks so good out in the sun. Feels good in the hand too.

Yeah software updates are really neglected by other companies so that consumers can buy their latest hardware as well as the latest softwares, which I quite hate. Even with OP 1's hardware, it is still great with updated software. Real beasts really don't die. I'm not quite familiar with ZenFones but I'll be sure to look it up sometime.

Aaron Macaron yup, truly, OnePlus is new Nexus. They make for users. And by users. Checkout out the Asus ZenFone 5z, its a competition to OnePlus 6 in India released today. It's cheaper and offers everything better except for the display. But only thing stopping is the zenui it has and running Oreo 8.0 while OnePlus 6 will get android P final soon.

I don't use wireless charging. I usually wear headphones when watching videos or listening to music so the single speaker won't bother me. I don't use my phone in the shower or in the rain so no IP rating is fine. My current phone has 32gb of internal memory with a 32gb sd card and I still have almost half of it left so no expandable memory is cool with me. Yup definitely buying this phone.
