@@amrelmesery Thanks. Single firing speaker from the bottom left. The speaker is loud. As in you're not having a terrible experience because it's a mono experience. I own a Google Pixel 2 so from dual front facing speaker's comparing it to the OnePlus 6T, it's a solid experience. Camera, it decent. It's no Pixel but if I have to give a rank on the camera experience based on 1-10 ( 10 being the highest ) I give it 8. Low light it's about 7 depending on the mode you're in. Software updates are going to make the experience better. I'm satisfied with the device. Even though the Pixel 2 and 3 has a better camera the OnePlus 6T is a worthy camera. Front facing camera is solid. It performs well.

The OnePlus 6T is a truly great phone no matter what the price, but at half the cost of an iPhone XS with a cutting-edge in display fingerprint sensor this is the bargain buy of the year. Everybody is complaing about in-display fingerprint scanner is slow but trust me its very very very fast, phone gets unlocked as soon as your finger touches the screen and more accurate than other phones, this is the smartphone that brings all-screen design up a notch. The OnePlus 6T proves that cutting-edge technology doesn’t have to cost the Earth, bringing an in-display fingerprint scanner and a tiny notch for just 37K. The gorgeous, crisp and colourful OLED display is a smidgen bigger at 6.41in, with a smaller chin at the bottom is simply amazing, coming to camera the new nightscape low light mode does a good job of eliminating hand-shake from long-exposure shots. The selfie camera is also pretty good Portrait mode works as advertised, Overall the camera on the OnePlus 6T is good and when you use the fingerprint sensor the night mode for the display is disabled temporarily and then fades back in once you’ve unlocked the phone. The phone comes with a screen protector already on it. the single bottom-firing speaker is loud and has a relatively large amount of bass for the phone, but is easily blocked while playing a game. OnePlus’s alert slider switches between silent, vibrate and ring and is still brilliant. OnePlus phones have always been good for the money, offering top specifications in well-built devices, but not pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. That’s changed for the OnePlus 6T. It is pushing what’s possible with the popular all-screen design using a tiny, attractive teardrop notch and a smaller chin, and it’s a better phone for it. But it is the introduction of a cutting-edge in-display fingerprint scanner, and making it work really well for as little as half the price of an iPhone XS, that is most impressive. there’s no wireless charging, it doesn’t have any of the fancy 3D face systems of some and it looks a little plain, but everything else is top notch. Even the software experience is excellent. Pros:- Good battery life, great screen, excellent performance, dual-sim, good camera, Bluetooth 5, great software, tiny notch, in-screen fingerprint sensor, alert slider, super-fast charging battery, affordable price relative to premium phones, last but not least Blazing fast software Cons:- No notification light, glass back but no wireless charging, no expandable storage. neversettleoneplus.home.blog

I don't understand why everyone picks on the OnePlus 6t for not having a head phone jack and wireless charging. So you want wireless charging but don't want to go wireless on the headphones? Now don't say wired headphones sound better because in that case wired charging is faster and one plus has the fastest charging in the industry. Please give it credit for doing so many things so good for just half the price than other flagship phones. I used note 8 for 14 months. Never did I use the headphone jack. Whether we like it or not everything is going wireless. Even LG and Samsung will do away with the headphone jack and we cannot do anything about that. I now own a OnePlus 6t. It checks everything you need the most. Fast charging, amazing battery life(really impressed), amazing UI, best looking notch in the market, vibrant screen, very good build quality (including their accessories) , super super fast and very smooth gesture controls (So close to Apple's). For the price I cannot complain about what it doesn't have because let's admit if it has everything that other phones do the price is going to increase and then that will be something everyone will pick on and trust me go for the money/value, not because it doesn't have a headphone jack or because of wireless charging where you need to buy a wireless charger that will cost you more.

I am very happy with this phone so far. I’ve had it for a couple weeks now and I’m coming from a galaxy S7. I love that phone but in the past few months it was getting to where the battery would only make it a few hours before it needed to be charged regardless of what I was doing. This is my first one plus phone and I’m floored by the battery life. I didn’t login to Facebook on it and maybe that has something to do with the battery but I am easily getting two days of battery with it. I’ve never had a phone with such great battery efficiency. The face unlock is super quick, almost to a fault, and the onscreen finger print reader is pretty cool. The fingerprint reader isn’t nearly as good as on the S7 but it does the job when I’m in a dark area or have my face obscured and facial recognition is unavailable. The build quality is nice, feels great in the hand. Doesn’t feel as solid or sturdy as the S7 but that might be the case I have on the one plus compared to the one I have on the S7. Speaking of which, the phone comes with a case IN THE BOX!! Another first for me. It also came with a screen protector already on it. It includes a dongle in the box and costs considerably less than all the current flagships. Needless to say, I’m loving the experience with this phone. I’ve been using smartphones and upgrading as needed since iPhone 3g so I know what I like and I love this phone. The main drawback I’m finding is that integration with the galaxy watch isn’t nearly as good as it was with the galaxy S7. I knew that might be a risk when I got it but for the price and having a phone with 2 day battery life I’m willing to make that sacrifice.

Was really happy with this phone up until a month ago, got it in December 2018 and it's been great. But a month ago, it started freezing and I had to boot into recovery mode and clear cache, it was okay after this for about a week and then frozen again. Booted into recovery again, but it froze on boot screen in a boot cycle. Had to do a boot into recovery also and reset. However around a week later froze again and was stuck in a boot cycle. This required a complete reset of the whole phone and and delete of all data. Which I was not happy about, luckily due to the previous issues I'd backed up all my photos and data so this was okay but a pain. Then yesterday.... Some of my apps froze and kept crashing I decided to restart it. But it never came back on! and was completely dead! I tried all the soft and hard boot restarts and left it plugged in for all night over 12 hours but still dead. it's basically a brick at this point completely unresponsive! ... :( Was a great phone but this last month has been a nightmare. I'm on a 2 year warranty and it has 2 months left, so if I can get it back on gonna reset it to factory and remove all my data and sent it in. Hopefully this works if not I'm gonna have an expensive door stop. Really put me off this phone and android/oneplus in general, this was my first android phone and will be my last sticking to iphone now on! had a Iphone 3gs for 3 years, and a iphone 5s after that for 5 years and can't recall every really having issues with these. Great tips. However, this should be the first thing you should do if you buy a OnePlus phone. Connect your OnePlus device in USB debugging mode to a computer, open adb shell and enter this command - pm uninstall -k --user 0 net.oneplus.odm Why? OnePlus gathers extensive data on the sly, without their users knowledge. Oxygen OS (even though OnePlus aren't happy to admit it) runs very discreet detailed analytics in the background. Oxygen OS collects detailed timestamped metrics on events and transmits the data back to OnePlus. This mechanism is firmly anchored in the source code of the operating system, making it very difficult for a user such as you and I to control without rooting the phone. Though OnePlus might claim the activity maybe for legitimate use of it's developers, the data being collected is far beyond what tech support is interested in. Metrics such as the mobile phone signal, WiFi and SSID information, MAC addresses, the opening and closing of apps, activities within the apps, turning the screen on and off and a fair bit more. In a nutshell, what you're doing on your phone and when and where you're doing it. Most users aren't tech savvy enough to notice. Right now you can only opt out (without rooting) of telephone numbers, MAC addresses and WiFi information if a you disable the "Join user experience program."
@craigmorford275 жыл бұрын
As long as you decline the "join user experience" you really don't have that much to worry about. Yes they are going to track what you click on and how often to help determine what what features need to change in future phones. But all phone companies do that. And so do all the apps you use. 1+ was just unlucky enough to get bad press about it. Full disclosure, I work in QA, but not for 1+.
@faisalanwar65305 жыл бұрын
@@craigmorford27 I agree. Collecting basic telemetry device data is a usual practice that every software maker and device manufacturers do to identify, analyse and fix software issues and help improve the quality of their products. OnePlus differs because it collects user identification information as well. No other phone manufacturer track who you call, your WiFi and SSID information, MAC addresses, the opening and closing of apps, activities within the apps, all timestamped and regularly sent back to them through their customised OS. To reiterate, you can only opt out of telephone numbers, MAC addresses and WiFi information if a you disable the "Join user experience program." If I was concerned my data security, it'd be even more reason to stay away from OnePlus.
@craigmorford275 жыл бұрын
OnePlus stopped collecting telephone numbers, MAC addresses and WiFi information by November of last year. While I agree that they ever did is cause for concern, I am thankful that they currently do not. The analytics data that they collect does include pretty much everything you do on your phone, which even though I hate this practice, most companies do it. They are also going to collect your device information, i.e. IMEI, OS version, etc. What you are doing if you opt into the "user experience program" is you are letting them tie the analytics to your device. So, in summary, I agree that if you don't want OnePlus to gather analytics on you, by all means run the adb shell command. I freely admit that I will probably do so, which is ironic considering I work in analytics QA. What I disagree with you on is that OnePlus is currently different than any other tech company. They might even be better, at least they don't sell your data to 3rd parties like Google and Facebook.

@@craigmorford27 Indeed, there's so much to be thankful for. The OnePlus 6T is brilliant. I love the camera. Wait, there were 6 million votes, where the OnePlus 6T was voted as the phone with the worst camera amongst 16 phones - the Palm, Huawei Mate 20, Razer 2, LG V40, Pixel 2, iPhone XS, Blackberry Key2, Pixel 3, P20 Pro, Red Hydrogen, Moto Z2, Note 9, HTC U12+, iPhone X and even the Pocophone? kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWaQk6Julpmti5I Okay, that's not a problem. I don't really take that many pictures anyway. I mainly use my device for media consumption. Wait, it's a notched 1080p display where lots of users have reported issues? www.androidpit.com/look-out-problems-have-been-found-with-the-oneplus-6t-screen That's not an issue. I believe in BKK electronics, who own OnePlus. They're a massive company in China. I'm sure they'll fix my phone. I'll just pop down to their service center. Wait, no service center nearby in the US or UK and I have to mail my phone in and wait for ages. No worries, I can just buy a screen off eBay or AliExpress. Besides, OnePlus is all about their user community. They listen to their user feedback. Like how OnePlus did a poll and all it's users were on-board to remove the headphone jack. Wait, 88% of 19,000 respondents wanted to keep it and OnePlus ignored its own user polling and removed the headphone jack anyway? twitter.com/getpeid/status/973745407208468485?s=19 That doesn't matter. Who needs a headphone jack? I'm not an audiophile. Besides, the OnePlus 6T still has awesome hardware otherwise at an unbelievable price. Wait, other phones such the Pocophone offer more hardware for half the price at $300? A headphone jack, a liquid cooled snapdragon 845 processor, an SD card, a notification LED, stereo speakers, IR face detection in the dark and a 4000 mah battery? kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaTaantmbcmXotk And now even the Samsung S9 with a QHD screen and wireless charging is cheaper at $500? kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWivh5qam6iBhdk Well, you know what, they don't have Oxygen OS. I still love OnePlus's operating system. It knows exactly what I want even before I know I want it. Wait, that's because OnePlus is regularly collecting user identifiable data and uploading it to their servers for the last two years? Even who I call? phandroid.com/2017/10/10/oneplus-data-collection/ All this has got me in a bit of quandary now. Why do so many KZbinrs recommend and use the OnePlus 6T as their daily driver? Wait, they were just sponsored to do a review video and no popular tech KZbinr actually uses a OnePlus phone as their daily driver? kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYilhJVud7WkobM Think I now understand why OnePlus uses their Never Settle motto. Never Settle for an overpriced underwhelming budget phone.

Guys can someone let me know if there’s a big difference between the OP 6T directly from the company or the one from T-Mobile in the US? And will the 6T work on AT&T? Still rocking an iPhone 5s and it’s time for a major change. 😬
@DroidlifeDL6 жыл бұрын
Yep, a handful of differences. Can read about them here: www.droid-life.com/2018/11/01/are-there-differences-between-t-mobiles-oneplus-6t-and-unlocked-versions-yes/

The reason the animation for the fingerprint reader can't be turned off is that the light from it is actually what makes it possible for it to read your fingerprint. I can't remember where I heard this, but it was from one of the big tech reviewers here on yt, who visited Oneplus headquarters.
@disguisepower4 жыл бұрын
Still owning the One Plus 6T but I use face id instead of the fingerprint reader... Battery life is still great after almost a year!!

You can also setup one tap to wake and then just put your finger on the fingerprint scanner, the phone wakes up and scans immediately

Can't turn the animation off because it needs to be lit up green because it help the finger print reader read your fingerprint, that's what it's green also.

Think it's worth upgrading from the V30?
@drixxonk6 жыл бұрын
Depends, how much do you care about camera and audio quality?
@munkeynutz136 жыл бұрын
@@drixxonk well I, I have jump on demand still with T-mobile, and in order to get something with $0 down and no tax, it has to be under $720 now. I'd like the v40, but would have to put too much money down and pay the tax on the device. That defeats the purpose of jump on demand. Used to be able to jump to any device with no money out of pocket. Love my V30, but time is running out. If I don't go soon, they'll bill me for the remaining balance, and I'll lose Jump on demand. Camera isn't a huge deal. I don't print pictures, and never take selfies. 20mp should be just fine for posting to social media.

Hi, really enjoyed the video... one question... Ive read that the One Plus is the closest expirience to Stock Android which I love since moved from iPhone IOS to using Android in the Nexus 6p..., with that being said, does the One Plus gets the Google Android updates as fast than the Pixels __?

Just came from a Note 8, really enjoying it so far... The camera is probably the weakest part of the phone, but after using pro mode, and color grading it afterwards, it can take some decent pictures
@Spread_love015 жыл бұрын
The Samsung camera is the best on a phone. OnePlus is decent and can be good but nothing beats Samsung on mobile camera.... Well maybe except the Huawei p20 and honor note x only.
