When you buy replacement been Back glass, does it already have replacement glue pre applied or do you have to apply it yourself? I need to do the same for the OnePlus 7t, ordered the back glass, I have an ifixit pro tech kit, but just wondering if I will need some kind of glue or not for putting it back together

Thanks for the vid. MIne is the non-pro version (gm1900) and for me the glass back was even easier to reinstall. There was no cord for the flashlight so it was a simple switch out.

Woah! I found a transparent back glass. Is it worth it? It would look nice tho. My OnePlus 7 Pro battery is done! My OnePlus 7 Pro is 3.5 years old and i need to replace the battery. But also the back glass is also cracked, almost the whole back glass! 🥶 So i need a new back glass and a new battery.

Quick question, I've seen "Replacement Water-Proofing Seals" for iPhones and stuff, I cracked my back glass but am regularly in wet conditions, is there something similar for the OnePlus 7 pro or do some back glass replacements even come with water-resistant tape pre-applied

@@brev2362 I don't have this phone, but I will try to give my two cents anyhow. If the flash isn't working, then they either did not transfer the flash assembly to the new glass, did not connect it/connector came loose or broke it. I am assuming that you got this sorted two weeks later. As for the flash assembly, that is an interesting one, it in fact is two parts; one of which being the flash itself and the other being the laser for the autofocus system that you can in fact see if you look at the phone's back lens when the camera app is open, with another smartphone camera. If you look closely and this is working well, you may in fact see a flashing light, which is the laser autofocus system.

@@sheepcute Thanks for your reply! Yes, the flash connector "popped" when they put the new back on so it was disconnected. It wasn't greyed out on Android however, you could still "activate" it but it didn't work. All fixed now :)

Sure. Don't overheat it. I leave the screen on when I'm heating to unglue, if the screen starts changing colors stop heating. Only one cable to worry about, don't cut that when you split it open. Other than that, be careful not to get glass in your fingers, or especially your eyes, (safety glasses, and tape the glass up before you start if it's badly broken) and take your time. First time I unglued a screen/back I did it from a youtube video and I was super cautious. Took me a lot longer than this, but I didn't have any problems.
