Saying there is no improvement in the battery department doesn’t seem to be true when you consider the 90Hz refresh rate, bigger screen and pixel density. Obviously it takes more to power better, higher resolution hardware. So to get the same battery charge time yet considerably better hardware specs is impressive.

These tests don’t show much. Each percent is not equal to another so testing for an hour of youtube and 10% of the battery going to doesn’t mean that, that phone can play youtube for 10 hours. These tests are completely flawed and to the point of useless.

Lizard King The real bad thing here is the Note 9, very poor battery life and I suspect that is due to Samsung devices ageing very badly. Bearing in mind it was on FHD+ compared to the QHD and 90Hz OP7P it is diabolical and I do wonder why Samsung fans still buy their devices. Apple has a 20% lower battery and had 24% left and on higher resolution than the Note when the Note died. How can Samsung fans justify such terrible performance? Clearly the OP devices are far superior to the Note series. Hopefully Samsung is better with the Note 10. We shall see in a few months how well the S10+ ages.
