To make them different 😅 (seriously). And both 7Pro and 7t Pro are literally the same 😆 the difference are too minor to consider the phones different. OnePlus committed to a 6month phone release so they had to release the device's in order to keep their promise. I have the OnePlus 7 Pro and I'll be keeping it a while. I normally upgrade every 5 months until I got the 7 Pro. Longest I ever held onto a phone. That 90Hz changed my life.

@@ChesterFoster it's the camera. For most people, what was holding back OnePlus was their camera quality, so now they have made it much better. Especially night mode and video stabilization I think, as well as the new macro mode (which is really cool).

I had the 7 Pro then sold it for a good price and bought the 7T Pro. I can tell no difference apart from the macro photo mode. Well, the 7T Pro charges noticeable faster as well and the 855 Plus feels somehow more power efficient (I’m getting about 15% more battery life in comparison). All in all, I wouldn’t say it worth the upgrade unless you get the 7T Pro for the money you’d get for selling your 7 Pro.

One major game changing diff is having a snapdragon 855 plus....it doesn't just have slightly higher CLOCK speed also it has X50 chipset which enables it to support 5G mmwave...it's a key point cause it really helps u manage to use this phone instead of buying any of the models which is gonna come later like 8 or 9
