@@nc3397 yeah I was always skeptical about Android for being laggy or if it didn't had the smoothness of the iPhone UI but now it's finally not laggy and it's very smooth scrolling just like the iPhone. One thing that actually made me switch was the trouble exporting my photos and videos. I would recommend getting the 256 gb 12 ram version. It's really good

Proud OnePlus 6 owner (8GB/128GB) for two years now, absolutely loving it every bit. There are times when a few apps misbehave but they're quick to update the phone and everything's back to being awesome. Awesome, informative review as always. I feel that curved screen thing can go in the trash rather sooner than later. It's a gimmick. Had a phone for an hour and returned it as soon as I could. So many accidental touches and seeing your text scroll halfway off your screen is more annoying than anything else

Yeah but still you get alot for that price and the price of smartphones is getting more and more expensive,this is to go against the pro/ ultra phones out there while the standard 8 is more against the other "standard" flagships. Not a killer like some of the other Chinese brands but still good. Was looking forward to seeing the z/8 lite but they will probably have a smaller event for that and hope they release it worldwide

You should know, the camera is amazing after a few updates, as the software improve a ton (I have the 7 Pro). Also the standard apps (messages, contacts, etc.) are not google version apps. Disable them and get the google versions as I have missed texts and notifications from people trying to contact me using OnePlus's versions.
