This is one of the only OP 8 Pro Reviews, that actually correctly mentioned, the Color Filter camera is just this one single "Fotochrome" Mode. I watched almost all reviews, and almost none did it right. In one Review, the guy said "it does some filters, that can be done with software too", scrolls through all the Filters - except the Fotochrome mode. My Opinion about the Filter lense: Even if most don't use it past the first week... I rather have a Lense, that actually DOES something, than some useless waste of Space like a ToF sensor or Depth Camera (which can be replaced by a good Software, or any of the other Cameras).

Another thing that I've seen only one reviewer pointing out in this device is the fact that the fingerprint scanner only works if the display is on. That means that you can't unlock your phone if it's laying flat on the table unless you fist press the power button to wake up the screen - and just then scan your fingerprint. That kinda sucks.

My mom just bought one, and she was never really a fan of the way the market was headed with bigger screens. Now she sees my 6,3 inch Huawei and says it's small. The screen on that phone is simply amazing with 120 Hz and quadhd+. If and when I buy a new phone it'll definitely be a OnePlus. She also loves oxygenOS, it's so easy to navigate and there's no bloatware unlike her old Huawei. And my god the cameras are good. Stunning colors, and you really do use them all, except for that stupid ir camera. Even the macro mode has a use with stuff like flowers.

Phones are refining their overall aesthetic via sub display sensors but increasing the rear sensors at it's expense. It's getting to a point where one could argue the unnecessary increase in rear sensors could be, if it isn't already, triggering for trypophobia. Only few devices have the problems. Some of the issues are also fixed via updates but for the ones with hardware issues they are providing replacement or refund or repair for those devices.

OnePlus has comes along way with there camera quality. The Cameras on this device looks great. I'm very impressed. I'm not sure why reviewers are so critical of smartphone cameras. It's a smartphone! The color filter camera is an infrared camera that can see through plastic and some fabric. OnePlus hid it and downplayed it fearing controversy and disabled it entirely in China.

ditched my Note 10+ (exynos model) to buy Oneplus 8 pro(glacial green). Hope I've made the right choice (just waiting for the delivery). In my note 10, I hate it when it slows down just because of multiple chat heads pop-up. Also happens when you type, send faster and with longer/continuous conversation. Worst, it heats up pretty quick, just by playing games such as summoners war, ragnarok M and even mobile legends. 🙁

Maybe they need to do another optimization, but I don't think that they really need that, since from the test shows that battery life barely change between 60/120hz because the only do 120hz when needed(like scrolling etc) when watching video or just reading an article, it automatically switch to lower refresh rate

Why you dont tell people about serious screen issues, which some of them affect all or at least majority of devices? If the reviewer test hist device properly even he would probably find some. Yes, its not possible to see them in daylight and with high brightness, but people use their phones at night also. There are people who already bought 2 or 3 even 4 devices and all faulty. Thats why i returned my faulty device and ordered xiaomi mi 10 pro. Please remeber it and at least never buy 8 pro from source where its not possible to refund without reason in some period. They will not accept it as warranty claim, they just say that its nature of OLED.
