it all comes down to optimization by that specific app developers. for ios there are hardly 10 devices (types of iphones) that the app is made for but in android there are almost 1000 .... so the level of optimization is always done best for iphones. Thats why even older iphones run smoother compared to their counterparts.

Mobi pro Apple chipsets are way ahead in single core score. New snapdragon chip catch up to the Apple’s multi core score and graphics but they are way behind in single core. If you do an antutu benchmarks the snapdragon 865 will beat the A13 in graphics but not in geekbench as the single core is way behind and multi core is close. When the A14 comes out apple will take back the lead. Also yes ios is optimized much better than android as they make their own chipsets and software so they have a much better control. You can see the Iphone still has great ram management with only 4gb of ram and their battery life is also amazing even though they have smaller capacity battery than other android phones.

S My Brother purchased OnePlus 5T in January 2018 and it’s almost 3 years old now it is terrible, opening any app take more than 4-5 seconds, battery backup is poor and browsing internet is also terrible, it feels like using a 5-6 years old phone. And I had a Iphone 6 since 2015 may and recently updated to iPhone 11. The problem with iPhone 6 is only with it’s battery. And it can be replaced easily.

I currently own a iPhone 11. Apps and video quality is amazing but it has very poor speeds on WiFi and cellular network. The display is horrible and the battery. If you are going to buy a iPhone then go for the 11 pro, way better battery and way better display. I have also owed OnePlus phones all the way up to the 7t pro 5G McLaren. I have had a chance to use the new OnePlus 8 and it definitely has way better stability and speeds on WiFi and mobile networks and the display is probably the best display I have ever seen on a smartphone. You also get way more storage and a way bigger battery that last me all day. I wouldn’t waste $700 on a iPhone like this again knowing the OnePlus phones look and feel years ahead.

I have an iPhone 11 and none of this is true. My iPhone 11 has excellent battery life and it has the best LCD display on any smart phone. And my WI-FI performance has been great. And the iPhone 11 has much better camera quality than the OnePlus. The only thing I can agree with you on is that the OnePlus feels more futuristic. In my opinion the iPhone 11 is the better choice than the OnePlus. If you hate iPhones just say that, don't go spreading lies about the iPhone 11. BTW I've owned a OnePlus 8 before and it was decent.

I have both phones and could not agree more. I bought iPhone 11 after going through lots of reviews about the battery and camera and both disappointed me. The battery stand by on iPhone is okay. But it drops when you start using it. I don't play games but I watch a lot of OTT and iPhone battery is not keeping up. Talking about camera, I wish any of these tech youtuber would have highlighted about that green flare coming in iPhone 11 camera when light source is in the scene. Midrange Android phone too hav these flares but they are so light that they get merged in the background, but its solid and very evident in iPhone 11. Preety disappointed.

I don’t think the screen is a problem... yeah 120hz is nice but the lcd of the iPhone is pretty great. The best lcd around actually. Looking at color in this video as example the one plus seems to do even worse. I don’t think you notice it without direct comparison... The general idea from this video is that both are fast, and in margin of error for speed. I don't think speed should be a deciding factor in 2020, rather look at specific features and services that fits your checklist. TLDR, you won't be disappointed with either.

The apple chipset used to be so much better than snapdragon and that mattered because games and heavy apps used to always lag on Android's with snapdragon chips, even on Flagship Android devices. But, snapdragon has now finally caught up and surpassed what apps require. Now both iphones and android phones with the latest chips don't lag.
