Greast video..after i replaced the charging port though, now my fingerprint reader is gone. It doesn't show the fingerprint icon on my screen and there's no fingerprint settings now. It's acting as if there is no fingerprint reader hardware on the phone. Thoughts?

probably you have damage or loose connection. The sensor is under charging port area. Can you please check for it.

Seems harder than I thought especially that heating pad.... Is it necessary? I have the whole kit other wise except the succion cup

You need to heat it to open the device.Otherwise the back cover will damage.

I can't find an opening after heating with the air dryer at the limits of what I feel the phone can handle (hotter seems dangerous.. Easely +75c) but still can't find my way in... While you seems to make it so easy Last time I changed the (mini) usb port of my phone it was a Samsung S2 I'm not very good at this stuff but still managed .. This time I think I'm gonna pay someone instead, I feel like risking destroying the whole phone (motherboard for exemple because of the heat or another part like the camera module) ... The manufacturing of theses smartphones has changed since 15 years.... Everything is tighter and way more complex... thanks for responding :). To get in feel I tried everything.... Wonder what it's gonna cost me in France .... Probably near 100$... 🤞 If you have a secret technical tip... Just to open it... I will take it haha, 100€ is a lot 🙏✌️

I have used onplus 8 for just 3 months I played games on it by using audio splitter after some time it stopped working as I have used all audio splitter and type c earphones available for OnePlus which good in quality and I have also cleaned usb port and reset my device as my device is charging well but not supporting audio when inserting audio splitter . What's solution?

I changed the port with new one. Whole flex I buyed new one and bought it and changed it. There was no any solution.

hi, i run into a little issue changing the charging port , when I disconnected the flexor cable from the logic board the port on the logic board was shredded to pieces and now there is nothing left to connect to, the phone has a 30 percent charge and I'm afraid there is no fix for this, please advise because I could not find the part online.
