I bought the oneplus earbuds pro because of dual connection and I connect to Oneplus phone and My Laptop. I am in a meeting call on Teams app in phone and talking to the participants, it was good until I received an email on Laptop outlook. I get a default eamil notification sound on pc when I get a new email. It switched from phone to PC without my knowledge while the teams call is going on in my phone. The participants who are my premium clients could not hear me because the teams app got switched from Bluetooth sound and mic to phone sound and mic. The same thing happened when I am on call using DUO app, WhatsApp etc and it switches from phone call to PC for the stupid notification beeps from PC and never returns back to the call on the existing app on phone. Tried all settings and there is no option to customize. Its very annoying and I returned it. painful way to use dual connection. P.S. Dear Oneplus please don't advise me to turn off notification sounds on pc. that's very much required for daily work.

@@TechUnRaveled Update: After a lot of testing, I figured there are two options when you connect to PC. 1) Oneplus Buds Pro Hands-Free AG Audio 2) Oneplus Buds Pro Stereo Not sure what is the difference but the 2nd option is working as expected for multi device and the first one is not working. I wish it to be mentioned somewhere as Note when connecting to PC and Phone in Dual connection to use Stereo and not hands free. I could not find it anywhere online.

3:37 is not active noise cancellation… the next cycle would’ve been ANC. What you showed as ANC was actually ambient noise canceling.

Hello! Great video. Could you let me know if these buds have any sort of quick switching between two paired devices? From what I've seen so far it doesn't seem like they do. Also! Some earbuds require you to disconnect from one device when switching to the other, could you confirm how these buds behave in regard to that as well?

Hello Varun Bhai, Namaste 🙏🏻 That's called Bluetooth Muti Point, Or Multi Device Support.. Unfortunately this feature isn't available in the OnePlus Buds Pro.. and believe me this feature is so great but yet underrated.. The Vivo TWS 2 has for 100 Dollars price point ! I hope it will be launched in india..

Hey Dave, i was wondering if you have any information about the range of the buds-to-phone in outdoor/indoor. Iphone with the airpods have great range outdoors because of the H1 chip but i'm not an iphone user and this range is very important to me because i'm a skateboarder and i dont want to keep my phone on me while skating a park. I have experience with the samsung earbuds and this range was awefull outdoors.. thanks in advance! Edit: bought them and the range outdoors is great. I have been able to clear a distance of at least 20meters without any problems (my garden aint longer so can't give a maximum distance). Also i have a oneplus nord, dont know if this has anything to do with the range increase. Very satisfied with these tho, total recommend!

Great review! Do these play well with OxygenOS on your OP8 Pro in terms of compatibility (e.g. Animation pops up when the lid is opened)? Because I heard for Chinese OnePlus Buds they come with a different firmware vs the global variant, so they may miss out on stuff like Google Fast Pair, English voice commands etc.

That'd be a tough take between Jabra Elite 4 active and OnePlus Buds Pro, I'd say get the Jabra only if you're into exercising and working out, The OP Buds Pro is the way to go otherwise... Sorry for the late reply btw..

With Oppo Enco X, you will have mono sound if your Bluetooth version is 5.0 or below. Does this one have the same limitation ?

hi, I just got these yesterday and i like about everything, but when anc is on i hear some crackling. I have the sony wh-1000xm4 and these give some noise with noise cancelling but with these buds it sounds more like an electric distortion instead of the noise cancelling sound if that makes sense. do you experience this or is it just me?

Yeah Coming From Sony's ANC .. this might will feel robotic to u.. I also notice it in some earbuds.. but this things seem to fix with Updates

But for gaming their tws 1 Pro is a way to go :) And This OnePlus Buds Pro's are really great for gaming, But I can't suggest you this right away for calling .. I haven’t tested the buds 2 yet, but the Buds Pro does have issues with the mic when there is ambient noise. Hopefully, this will be resolved in a future firmware update.

Your video was directly to the point with no useless filler and I really appreciate that as I'm trying to get as much information on these as I can to see if I want to make them the partner to my OnePlus 9 Pro. I do wonder how the latency is with these things when playing mobile games such as PGR and Genshin. Right now I use my Fill T1X and the low latency mode is nice but the app never keeps it always on which is annoying.

Latency is really low, I don't think you will have any issues especially paired to a OnePlus 9 Pro.

The mic test with ambient background noise made the decision for me. I make lots of calls on the road and that test sounded terrible. I was excited about these too.

For Android Phone I can't recommend the AirPods, As they aren't fully functional with an Android.. I'll say wait for firmware to update on this and I'll come up with my final thoughts.. The Sound and Latency were really really good but ANC isn't.. Maybe software updates will fix it ..But if you use an android device then you should consider this over the AirPods Pro :)

My OnePlus Buds Pro is connected to my iPhone XS. HeyMelody app shows "489 Update Available". After updating HeyMelody STILL shows the same 489 update. I tried updating multiple times and no success. This is happening to others as I read the exact same issue happening to users in the OnePlus forums. I just got these and all ready running into weird bugs like my right ear bud hissing louder than the left, random times audio left and right are not in sync for a couple of seconds when connected to my macbook air and the firmware not updating. two thumbs down.

to feel the difference the music/video streaming service will have to support it too.. for example, Apple Music now supports Dolby Atmos.. and some of the Netflix shows has Dolby support.. So if we look at that way this does have 360 kinda feature but not as close as Spatial Audio..

According to the OnePlus' site regarding OnePlus Buds Pro, there'll be 3 ANC modes. Faint, smart and extreme. I suppose you'll get to modify which ANC it toggles on or off by the stem later on by the settings, when the app works, I suppose. So maybe the ANC shown in this video was faint? Who knows.
