Great comparison! The hard clanking with the OP buds pro with ANC on was a bit too loud compared to the Apple Airpods Pro. The OP Buds did great against other headphones in the Android market, but I'm a bit shocked at how much better the Airpods Pro performed. Thanks!

The way you used the ted was brilliant. During Airpods ANC, i thought my volume got decreased but second later realized. I think you should fine tune this method by exact fit of buds in the ted's ears. And while creating artificial background noise, make sure it is being played at center right behind the subject so that the earbuds could pick the sound and distribute it evenly which was missing during OnePlus buds pro test. Hope you get my point.

Awesome video bro ! I needed your suggestion. I have been using sennheiser cx 180 ii since 2015 for laptop media consumption, they are the best in terms of sound and comfort for me, but tends to break every 6-10 months. Now I am planning to replace them with TWS which have battery backup of least 5 hours and comfort level of airpods pro (as I have been using them since last 1 year, so that's benchmark). Your suggestions are highly appreciated :D p.s. there's no price limit, if you think product is worthy.

For sound only, the Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport are the best sounding earbuds I've tested to date. For me they are very comfortable but it can be difficult since everyone ears are different to tell if they will work for you. Thanks for commenting and watching!

Did you make sure oneplus buds are inserted properly into Ted's ears. It's because anc on oneplus buds feels to me worse than oppo enco w51. If possible can you compare those two for anc. As oppo costs half of OnePlus it would be good comparison to see anc performance with price.

Great comparison review, even though I had the hardest time trying to get the Airpods to fit which means I don't own them, I agree with the ANC mode for sure. Was going to try the One Plus' but not so sure now. May stick with my Beats Pro's until Apple updates their Airpods Pro this year hopefully. Great job!

Hi Dave. How well does the hearing test on these buds adapt the sound? Like if someone has bad high frequency hearing is it going to correct that like a digital hearing aid does? (The OnePlus buds I mean)

I did take the actually test but I wasn't really able to tell if there was a big difference in sound. Maybe it worked but I'm not actually sure it did anything. I guess I just have to assume it did.

I would say that if you have very good hearing to begin with then the change is ineffectual while for a hearing impaired person it could make a huge difference because there is plenty to correct. I'll never know because I signed up today for a Nuraphone subscription. Appreciate the reply though and great review!!

This was great. I feel like the important tests (to me) had a clear winner: the ANC was dominated by the Airpods, but the microphone noise suppression was dominated by the OnePlus (the mic quality while driving was phenomenal).

I have the older oneplus earphones, one feature i really like that it has is able to long press a button, and able to jump bluetooth connection between my phone and laptop. Hey, when listening to the ANC test on speaker it sounded like the ANC was basically doing nothing on the Oneplus buds pro, while being perfect on the air pods pro. I know someone who wants to buy the oneplus buds pro. I listend to the test again with headphones on and while ANC was on with the oneplus buds pro and you were talking it sounded like the left side wasn't sealed as well as the right side. The ANC was noticeable on the right side and barely noticeable on the left side. The buying decision right now depends on a decent ANC, doesn't have to be the best, but should be working well, it's supposed to be used with Android, does anyone know if the ANC on the oneplus buds pro is good and how good they actually are?

I gotta say I really enjoy your videos! Recording with TED is really what we all need because it’s a big deciding factor for me and many others on which earbuds have the best ANC and Transparency mode. Only thing I didn’t particularly like was the AirPods Pro did not have on the original ear tips. It didn’t feel like a 100% comparison as the foam tips might create a better seal for improved ANC.

Umm I tried my best to keep it fair and made sure the seal on both of them were perfect, Didn't took the Foam as a point though hahah, I'll keep in my mind next time

@@TechUnRaveled The foam tips definitely make a difference. Although, in my opinion, the foam tips will not give the airpods their best performance. That being said, none of it matters because airpod pros are defective and will eventually become toilet due to crackling/static issue. I have had to send mine in for replacement several times already and they keep failing. Utterly disappointed because of this and will never recommend them now.

I feel the seal of oneplus buds pro around the binaural microphone ear canal wasn't right, which would have caused the poor ANC performance. Thus was apparent when the background noise intensity was different to start with when none of the ANC functions were turned on. Pls check.

The results are very similar in both videos I produced. Although "Ted" isn't the perfect scientific instrument it does give a good idea of what the end result will be.

Just discovered this vid, it's fantastic! I'm not buying Airpods Pro as I don't like the sound. Trying to find a set of buds with great sound, mic quality and transparency for audio and calls; not so bothered about ANC. Any recommendations?

Glad I could help, Stefanos Pap, I have also ordered the nothing ear (1) , I'll let you once they arrive.. But i gotta say, if your phone has LHDC than this are the best earbuds to get ! This are just Perfect ✌🏻 just ANC is hit or miss, Which Updates can fix :)

i bought one plus buds pro recently , my right ear bud is draining battery 10% faster than the left ear buds..Is this Normal or my buds are defective ? for example if both ear buds are 100% charged and after using them the left ear bud will be having 80% and right ear buds will have 70% battery left..i tested multiple times but the result is same..

Great video but I feel like there should be a re comparison, because the airpods pro were released in October 20 2019 which I assume has gotten lots of updates where as OnePlus is new and only has the best support of the OnePlus 9/pro (which these also weren't tested on) but regardless I hope that OnePlus picks up the pace and adds some updates,if they do I'll be looking forward to a retest

That's what I'm saying firmware updates can not make the earbuds best if they are trash and the Apple's were holding up like this even on day 1 .. Firmware's can fix they issues and make it better I'm waiting for the firmware that it could improve the ANC.. And talking about the phone, in my testing they were as good as it has to be and only ANC lacks which I don't think which has anything to do with the phone

@@TechUnRaveled you never stated they were trash all that you said that was wrong with them was ANC which was ass and the bass which could be tweaked,but my counter argument is usually OnePlus always flops on release with their devices,there's always bugs and it always gets fixed with firmware updates,kinda like how on release the phones cameras are trash then after updates they become really good,if bass is the only problem it can be fixed,and you said they sound clear and everything it's just apple sounds "more clear" how can adjusting the tune of the device not make it sound better overall?
