This is a great video however my connector (the one with usb-c) was glued together at the end where he used the stanley blade. Resulting in it cracking. After investigating and trying to dismantel the rest of the cover by applying a pincer at the usb-c cover I came to the conclusion that OnePlus has glued several parts to the cover. A repair is not possible.
