Being very honest. Nord 2 Camera Samples look better than 9 Pro. Maybe need little bit of tweaking on some HDR shots.

It's using same main camera sensor, as 9 Pro uses on it's ultrawide camera, so in a way it's a flagship camera sensor as well. And it's using different isp, since it has MediaTek chip, instead of Snapdragon.

Another great video, Tom! I had to pop in and say I'll never understand you Brits constantly complaining about the weather and not doing anything about it. I understand that your parents aren't used to heatwaves but by this point you should be because they are not going away so you should just get an air con. It's a total lifesaver. We constantly get 40+ temperatures during the summer (if only we weren't landlocked...) and even though my parents grew up thinking 30 degrees was something unheard of, we all have them now and couldn't imagine our lives without them.

@@devil_killa It is not colorOS skinned. It looks exactly like OxygenOS, but the settings menu layout and camera app are the two major things from ColorOS. No bloatware/Ads at all

I remember owning a 3T, which was the fastest phone I'd ever used and I loved the "mute switch." Kind of like having an iPhone, but with a decent Android long press option keyboard. Still not available on iOS. But, I found it too big, at the time, but this looks really tasty. Pity they're no longer doing that funky OEM case!

Back in the day, I owned a Jiayu G3S phone from China. It was one of the first China phones you could get (if I'm not mistaken) and pre Xiaomi. It ran on a mediatek chip just like this Nord does. However, the GPS on Mediatek chips was insanely bad. Can you tell us anything about that? How does it track your movement, your car etc? Does it ever go bonkers and just follows the satelite that it's picking up a signal from rather than sticking to your car?

Can you make a real-world usage comparison between Nord 2 and A52 5G? Especially the cameras, because they have a similar price range? And also because most people are ready to pay for software that Oneplus provides, but they call Samsung overpriced even when they have excellent software support for the A-series. I'm not taking any sides here, I'm just looking for a phone that's worth the money I pay and is also good for productivity.

The colors on the original Nord and the 9 pro are so similar. Why did OnePlus waste millions of dollars with hasselblad, I will never know.

Got my nord 2 recently. Really impressed with it but I've since seen there's cases of battery exploding! All 3 were in India and one or more may be fake. Is this device safe to use? Possibly a faulty batch? I've got the UK version. Is that likely to be different?

I made it one of my son's problem to put the separately purchased gorilla glass on. I'm glad the same son could spare an aux chord for my earphones because I hadn't thought of buying wireless earphones when I ordered the phone. The short charging time is a big plus. My husband won't consider buying the same phone because wireless charging isn't an option. Having never owned any of the top brands or a flag ship phone, I can't compare and right now I'm glad I can't, because I can't afford better.

I got the OnePlus Nord last year and it's probably the last OP phone I'll ever buy. Software updates made the phone slower and the battery life got significantly worse; with so many devices they have to support, I doubt they'll become better at optimising the software.
