4:44 Guma is the unsung hero of these plays, the roaming Senna saved/won 2 early game fights. Both T1A and T1 have a super flexible botlane that can swap between support and ADC roles really well. Honest would be crazy to see Keria+Smash or Rekkles+Guma.

Maybe it's just that the LCK is a higher skill region, so they get longer games, but I think T1 is trying to resolve an identity crisis before worlds with their drafting. They won worlds in 2023 with a lot of strong early to mid-game comps, win lane win game, gave their bot prio with double ranged, and just gambled on the high level of all their players. Their teamfighting was good because they were T1, not because they drafted teamfight comps, and they used early aggression to bully LPL teams that thought they would have more time to win. Now that they're back in the LCK, and games are longer, they're trying things like Nidalee and carry junglers to see if it'll work for them like it works for GenG. They can't stomp DRX like they stomped LNG, and so now they're stranded in the mid to lategame and throw a bit more. Meanwhile GenG CAN stomp KT in 30 minutes, and are closing out their series more decisively. Maybe T1 will keep trying to make it work, or maybe they'll pivot, either way I think T1 is playing for worlds already. Edit: just finished game 2, was wrong about who they can stomp lol.

T1 games are longer because their form is not great. Before the ddos situation started, T1 was dogging every team (after losing first match to geng). Towards the end of that same season, the meta changed and they couldn't adapt fast because they can't polish in soloq

@@simple45679 Maybe, but look at their 2nd game, 21 minutes. T1 at worlds when they 3-0'd teams would always get shorter and shorter games as the series goes. Now games are 4 minutes longer on average and they can still get a 21 minutes against an LCK team. While no, they're not as dominant as they were at worlds, I think they're prepping to be at that level come Fall. T1 in regular season is not the same T1 that's at worlds.
