I'm from another generation ...... the 1960's ....... I loved the Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Dylan, the Byrds, etc. After the 60's ended, I didn't think that there would ever be music of that quality made again. Well, a couple of years ago, I met a cam model, who was working on a cam site. She was living in Riga, Latvia (the other side of the world from me) at the time, She played a lot of music, whenever she was in the cam studio she worked from. OneRepublic was one of the groups she played quite often. She was a big fan. So I was introduced to an American band by a foreign girl. I was stunned. I could not believe how talented these guys were/are, and I had never heard of them. They are true artists, using musical notes and brilliant lyrics to paint scenes of the experiences and resultant emotions that we all can relate to. How they do it, I don't have a clue, but they do and brilliantly so. It's pure and potent magic, and I stand in awe .....

Ryan Tedder is such an entertainer. It's just so extremely fun to "tune in" with his rhythm of facial expressions and bodily gestures. He's just so deep into music, it's fantastic to me.. I could tell at a young age that there was something special about this man's relationship with music, and 10 years later, I still feel that same spark watching/hearing him immerse in music!
