Chinese “sushi” restaurants… are a scourge and don’t produce sushi. Are there any legit Japanese sushi restaurants in Sacramento anymore? Mikuni makes a hyper-Americanized, roll-based “sushi”, but Chinese, banquet hall, “sushi” restaurants are definitely not making sushi. There used to be a couple semi-authentic sushi restaurants in mid-town. Do the math of the quality of the food you’re eating at Chinese, banquet hall restaurant that charge sub $15… On second thought, don’t do the math if you’re eating at places like that.
