Lockscreen customization is just an implementation from old good lockstar module made by Samsung themselves years ago ( so you can have this feature on previous on ui as well.) So ios copied it from samsung , not samsung from ios 😉

Good point. I focused on the fact that Samsung made this accessible to everyone as an official feature of OneUI only with this update. Not many normal users use GoodLock apps. Samsung does have GoodLock and other apps like ExpertRAW, Camera Assistant - that I think Samsung is gauging users’ interests and then including them in official builds.

Haven’t noticed any battery drain. IMO The battery life in general is great with the Z Fold4.

The lockscreen changes are a bit silly really...can customise further and in better ways just using Good Lock which has been in the galaxy store for years. Baffles me why Samsung don't just implement Good Lock features in to the core OS of the phone instead of it being a separate app and then only adding parts of it to the OS.

@@byteformtech awesome I shall look out for it! I'm currently debating whether to keep my fold 4 or s22 ultra. I love fold but I interact with the outer screen more which is obviously much smaller than the s22 ultra! So I'm not sure. To be fair though, I'll be getting the s23 ultra when it releases so I don't think it matters too much what I pick between these 2 cos it'll only be for a couple more months 😂

It depends if you want to use the next gen form factor when it comes to smartphones. The only thing I would say one would miss from the Ultra series is the camera. That said I will get get the S23 Ultra when it’s out. Tip: Try getting the S21 or S22 Ultra in a deal now as the trade-in values for these from Samsung for S23 Ultra will be insane!

@@byteformtech that's the thing as well. It irritates me that samsung don't put their absolute best cameras on their most expensive device, it's kind of an insult really 😂. But ye I think I'm gonna get rid of the Fold 4 now. Keep the s22U for the time being and move to the s23 ultra. Cameras are definitely a big deal to me and the S line currently beats the fold line as we know. S23 next... And then potentially the Fold 5 depending on what samsung do with the cover screen and cameras! 😂

Unfortunately there was an issue with the microphone which I only found out after recording the video :(
