I absolutely love my fold 4. My iPhone battery was getting weird and my iPad died at the same time. It didn't make sense to buy two new devices that would be well over $3k so I decided to leave iOS and get the fold. It's truly changed my productivity and life in small but significant way. After being a 10 year+ apple user this was super helpful in my transition to Android

@@awesomeruben really well actually. The new screen protector I installed is better than factory. The front screen did crack but, that was my fault for not having a case and I drop my phone a lot. Only complaints are battery life (but admittedly it's basically three screens in one so you can't really be mad at that if you're a heavy phone user). And second, it's doing this weird buggy thing in the messages app when typing that the text input and message you're writing starts bobbing up and down and idk what that's about. And the final con is the aspect ratio on the front. It's way too tall and feels weird and heavy. The 5 fixed the gap, but I've heard rumors the 6 is supposed to be closer in aspect ratio to the pixel and one plus and be wider. I have a while before my 4 is paid off, but I'll likely get the 6 next or the 7 if this one holds up Other than that I love it. You get over the crease in like 20 minutes and

New to the Fold experience and have been having the best time! Thank you for this video. Another tip I found is while unfolded with an app open, swipe two fingers from the left or right. This will split the screen and open the app drawer on the opposite side of screen. Here you can quick pick the app you want to add to your split screen. Option needs to set in advanced features/ Labs / select swipe for split screen.

Thanks for showing us the different edge techniques! That tip about being able to swap between horizontal and vertical screen split was just what I needed. Size absolutely makes a difference when it comes to Folds! Those multitasking festures are looking juicy.

I have the N20U right now... And pulled the trigger in the Fold 4. Sammy had a crazy trade in offer this past week... They gave me $900 credit for it! Now.. Me being slick I actually can't completely give up this phone. So I went on Amazon and used their Renewed program and got a N20U for only 470. It was pretty damn good shape. So I'll be using this for the trade in. I'm STILL making out. But anyway.... I can't wait to get it. I went to best buy last weekend and demod it... Fell in love instantly within minutes! Even with the s pen. So I purchased a case where the pen goes on the side. I've watched so many videos about what this phone can do... Side bar... I've had my n20u for 2 years and thought there's no way I would get this phone unless it had the s pen stored inside... Which I STILL can't believe they made 4 damn iterations of it without one 😐. But whatever. I'm a multitasking freak and media consumption nut. So this will be an epic phone for me 🤗

When using that selfy camera option, once the outside display is active you can push a small logo in the corner of the small screen to transfer controls to the front screen while the phone is still on, allowing you to take pictures and use options while in that selfie mode on the front screen :]

Great video. Here's my tip that I do for every android phone to make it run, that little bit faster. (You'll need to turn on developer options) Settings >> About Phone >> Software Information >> Tap Build number 7x (Developer options are now on) Go back to Settings >> Developer Options >> Scroll down to Windows Animation Scale >> Turn this off Do the same for Transition Animation Scale & Animator Duration Scale. All the cameras are great to use and I love using the fold open to watch tv or films, its brilliant that you can fold it open. I just wish the width of the phone was bigger when its folded closed as I would prefer the screen to be bigger to use, as an iPhone user for many years I am finding it difficult to type or use the screen as its so narrow compared to an iPhone, that's the only problem I have had so I hope the Galaxy Z fold 5 will be wider. @V to solve your typing problem on the front screen. The easiest way while your phone is folded: pull up your keyboard and hit the 3 dots, search for the keyboard resizing symbol, and expand your keyboard. Another way is to type "how to increase keyboard size" in your setting's search bar. From there, it will give you step by step instructions to increase your keyboard. Also, there is a keyboard icon on your keyboard toolbar. If you hit that, it will toggle between the settings, including allowing you to reposition your keyboard if you like. You can also play with the home screen display sizing and appearance to give you the illusion of a wider screen via the home screen settings option

@@nordinw1094 hey, I've had it for a couple months now and I love it. I came from a note 20 ultra and it feels like an upgrade. Having a large screen really helps out because I have horrible eye sight, I rarely use the outer screen. The only downsides for me are battery life and feeling like I have a brick in my pocket.

I’ve found a nice little sweet spot, if you set the app to open 4:3 it only cuts a little off, less than having it full screen. Not perfect but better than having it 16:9 on the big screen.

Free idea for you Samsung: when doing split screen allow the ability to swipe right on one of the apps to the next app you use in split screen without interrupting the KZbin video or video call going on in the other screen.

I got the Z fold 3 and had to send it back because it was faulty and now have the Z fold 4 but one thing I think they've left out of the 4 that the Fold 3 had was the ability to clip a motion video and use as a moving wallpaper on the front and big screen. Till this day I still own my iPhone 2G. I just switched from my iPhone 12 pro max to the zfold 4. And I love this phone. I used to carry around my iPhone and my iPad to get both experiences and this phone does it all and the best thing about it is that it uses a usb c so that's only cable. If apple would of had ubc support on the iPhone 14 I probably would have stayed because that purple is very attractive but I am happy with my lavender fold 4 512gb. Super beast I'd say.
