Seoho keeps coming for my throat with each comeback at this point. I might have to bump him up to official oneus bias. But yes, those teasers were DANGEROUS. I loved how Leedo was giving very lazy sunday morning (but sexy) boyfriend energy, and then seoho was just like lol let me just make you feel like you've committed a sin or something, and then Hwanwoong with the glitter like excuse me???, Ravn in a suit and the staring like pls sir (I can't), for Keonhee's teaser, I believe the fruit is a fig. I hadn't seen his teaser until now, I must have missed it, but it was quite beautiful. Xion is seriously so beautiful like...this is not fair haha I know a lot of people prefer their "noisier" comebacks (no diggity, bring it on, etc.) but I feel like Same Scent is exactly the type of song that suits them the best. We get to hear their beautiful voices and the melody is just amazing, the rap parts are integrated well, there is nothing that sounds disjointed or mismatched or anything. Btw, I'm not saying that noisier songs are bad (I listen to so many "noise" groups), but I'm just saying, when it comes to Oneus, I just love beautiful songs like this one the most.

The first reaction vid I ever saw of yours was for an Ateez MV and I distinctly remember it because Caitlyn kept saying "You b*tch" because of San. It's because of her that I picked up on that habit, and during the teasers for Leedo, Ravn, and Seoho, I'd kept saying "you b*tch". The power the hyung line of Oneus has on me, I swear!

Yes, they nailed again. Soooo good! Hwanwoong is the Performance Director in this album and he proposed the use of water as a prop in the choreography. Insane! And wey have the hyung line credited as lyricists and composers: Ravn have 6 credits in lyrics and 2 in composition; Leedo 5 in lyrics and 1 in composition; Seoho 1 in both categories. The range of vocals and maduraty in this album is sooo shocking! Love it so mucho💖

Hi I do think it has to do with temptation by the forbidden fruits. Personally I think the Malus is what they are tempted by. I think the my Malus teasers tie into the album the first track is called Eden. Btw the director posted some of her thoughts on her Instagram. Hwanwoong it was glitter and he just freestyles the dance. Keonhee mentioned that funny enough the snakes name was Eve. Thanks for reacting. I can’t wait to see the album reaction it is amazing. They already did a live media showcase of Same Scent and Gravitation which were stunning.

Malus - I assume personally they were going for the Latin I think so related to ‘wicked, bad, evil, mischievous’ so I thought with the sentence ‘do you have a malus too?’ Is like saying what’s your vice, your weakness or part of you that’s like your Achilles heel. Somewhere between what’s your personal temptation or vice. The link to the Apple as the Apple 🍎 was on the tree of the forbidden knowledge. Curiosity killed the cat kind of thing so it was a ‘vice’ or failing in the person that effects their choices. Leedo has a vice of serenity so maybe he’s too calm about things he should be much more animated about. The fact this is in a chill Sunday morning playful everyday scene with clearly someone else he maybe is saying the simple serene life is his temptation. Water for him was a cleansing playful element. The visuals were TOO MUCH, lol 😂🔥🥵 Seoho was daydream so he lets his mind indulge and perhaps looses his focus on reality at times. He has the pomegranate which also in some cultures believed as the fruit of temptation, wink 😉 also fertility and he’s certainly showing some of his ‘appeal’ lol 😂😈. The water here a kind of medium for him a thirst quenching which is even in his lyrics. It was after this one I was like aaaaaaaaagh you will be attacked then msg saying it but that you won’t know cause can’t watch till MV lol 😂 ruuuuuuuude lol 😈 Hwanwoong greed for more is his cross to carry and it might be for more opportunities or achievements but also self improvement it can be anything but it’s sometime what blinds him to what he has already. He vibrates with glitter or sparkle ✨ a link to the greed for more not just monetary advances. There is no water here and the what might be a plum of temptation is only seen when he’s blinded by it so maybe he’s missing the water in the blind search for more. The plum in symbolism as perseverance and hope as well as beauty thriving in adversity much like the cold sparkly place he’s in he is thriving and craves more. Ravn has issues with control, perhaps always being in it and having all the elements strapped in means he can loose the touch of creative expression that comes with a little spontaneity or the magical combo that leaping into the unknown can bring. Like he constrains himself. Not gonna lie he was looking a certain way with the strap in his hand lmao 😈😈😈😈🤣There is no water just metronomes regulating everything but a bowl of very juicy raspberries grasped in his hand leaves a smudged mark on his lips, perhaps too much control can make him both unable to benefit from the creative impulses but also controls his palette and other senses till he grabs at it in outbursts. Keonhee can be too solitary and isolate himself. while being comfy in your own company is good it can pull you away from fun times and experiences too that you do want but forget to push yourself out the hermit shell once in a while. He has a black snake, I can’t identify the breed, perhaps a racer black but the belly looks mostly black and ever the ‘black snake’ is mean to have a white belly. considered cold they are quite warm to the touch but tend to be more solitary. the black makes me think of cleopatra and the asp she asked for in the basket of figs. Now he’s not handling an asp and the film is a theatrical version of her death which scholars say was prob just poison she drank but it’s a visual similarity. Here he’s in a black and white world with his mind his escape but in his isolation he has nothing to interact with. I’m reminded of the symbolism being repeated with fig leaves being used to cover humans upon their enlightenment and awareness but that figs too are in the running for forbidden fruit in some cultures and again links in others to it being a symbol of power of women but also fertility again. Xion maybe feels his innocence is his weakness as the Maknae but essentially just a young guy he maybe feels like he just doesn’t know anything about anything and so while innocence can be a virtue it can turn into ignorance if you can’t learn and spread those baby chick wings when the time comes. Perhaps his fears of doing well, becoming more knowledgeable and confident will be the wings for him in the end. He is surrounded by flowers, dandelion and the water in his is frozen🧊 so he needs to thaw naturally and when the right breeze comes become like the dandelion. He’s eating a cherry, which makes me think of innocent as we often link youth ‘popping’ that innocence and that’s not just a sexualised way it can just be from youth to adult or boy to man etc. A notice that nearly all have the element of water in their scenes too, but that each has a different fruit that all link to the forbidden fruit or symbolism. I’m wondering if these points would even link back to previous lore as I’ve seen the gods/vampires story fit in most of their mvs from debut to now, some in big and some in small ways. Anyway this was a random ramble. Lol just theories while watching. Glad you enjoyed and added the solo teasers cause I think it adds to the MV seeing the set up, but the MV teasers gave way too much song away.

I’m so glad you were able to react so soon. In another chat group of mine, I likened it to Trickster being a test drive to see how much sexy we could handle, then putting the pedal to the metal for Malus. I’m not sure if you’ve already started working on the album review, but the intro is called Eden, so it definitely focuses on the Christian biblical aspect of the fruit of temptation and desire. For our boys: apple, pomegranate, plum, raspberries, fig, cherries. Every single song is amazing and incorporates that theme. Full Moon will make you melt in your chair. 🫠 I was on the verge of squealing throughout the entire song. 😍 Some of the most seductive vocals I’ve ever heard. But, like I said, every song on here is beautiful. You will not be disappointed.

When I saw the teasers I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO OMG YOU BOYS ARE KILLING ME I CAN'T HANDLE THEM ALL and I fell off my chair lol and the song is literally stuck in my head it's soooo good.
