Masa Fukuda created a choir for the 2002 olympics. The singers enjoyed their time with Masa Fukuda so much that he created the One Voice Children's Choir with many singers from 2002.

Thank you once again, OVCC. Everyone has their own chains. Mine is losing my son on 10/4/2000. As a father, you're supposed to fix things and protect your kids. I couldn't fix his addiction. But days like this remind me of God. Last night, I had one of those many bad nights, feeling overpowered from guilt and simply overwhelmed. Today, I get a message from my favorite group of kids, led by the great Masa Fukada. Thank you. I'm going to hold on for one more day.

I think this song is better sung by teenagers because they're starting to navigate the hardships of life. Young children just sing the lyrics as they are, but can barely grasp the underlying meaning as their lives and emotions are still simple and innocent.

OVCC choir becomes a space where each of them learn to express joy, sorrow, or enthusiasm collectively, building emotional awareness and empathy. Their ability to convey nuanced emotions through their voices transforms both their performance and personal growth. OH Do I love to see them growing and evolving through the years.
