One more comment about Ningning (she is my bias in Aespa): even the legendary Bada said that Ningning is a powerful singer and that she understands why Ningning is often compared with her. For those who don't recognize the name Bada, she was in S.E.S. (which is the first SM girl group from 1st gen), and she is THE original vocal goddess of all SM girl groups. If you're interested in watching a 1st gen goddess interact with the current 4th gen goddesses, please watch the making of Aespa's cover of the S.E.S. classic "Dreams Come True" and you will see Bada speaking with Aespa and hear her praise Ningning's singing. BoA as well praises Ningning's voice in that video, by the way.

the essence of "Life goes on" is that no matter what bad things happen in life, there´s always someone cheering you on from afar (like Onew does in the MV) and as the title says life goes on even if at times it doesn´t seem that way :) coming from Onew the message means even more to me ♥

I love this version of Way with Ningning. Her vocal tone is absolutely gorgeous and suits Onew well. I hope they sing togther again some time. And you should check out Aespa - they're fantastic. Think of them as NCT's little sister and f(X)'s cousin (Billlie is f(X)'s little sister).

I get it, I also don´t understand how Shinee is underrated sometimes, even tough they are big in Asia, but here in America I think that many people dont know them because of marketing strategies that SM have. Also, they were very famous when they debuted (208-2015), but k-pop has expanded so much and Shinee has a very different and unique sound. But, for me they proved every single time that they are one of the best k-pop bands that have ever debuted. I dont´t know but is a proud feeling to be a shawol. Even in the bad times they have moved on :)

Jinki's voice is just beautiful. He said he's still doing vocal lessons, changing/trying his techniques, doing different tones coz he wants to take care of his voice so he can sing for a long time. And I love how Jinki do this changes in how he sins, ton he uses, techniques he do with his voice over the years. Also, he's just lovely!

I love Life Goes On, it is so much fun to sing along with. Basically the lyrics are like “The sky’s not always blue but I still want to keep looking up, I may be filled with anxiety, but I’m always laughing with you”. It’s a song of hope even during hard times, and feeling happy in the small moments despite difficulties. It is very uplifting and has a great summer sound. I also love the performance of Way with Ningning. Their voices match so well together. I was impressed with Ningning’s voice… and Onew’s voice is stellar as always. This performance was the highlight of the SMTOWN Live for me.

I think you'd enjoy getting to read the lyrics for 'Life Goes On'--it certainly got me emotional. I agree it's good to hear Onew do some of those more upbeat songs. His ballads are beautiful, but the midtempo songs are so sweet, especially when paired with that face and soft smile! 'Way' gets me every time, and this was a fantastic duet. Good find! Ningning was very impressive; not every voice pairs well with Onew, and that song demands someone with a full-bodied voice to match when they get to that final chorus. And you called it right away! She was soft to start, but with the musical ability still showing and growing until they were shining on the same page.

Aespa doesn't have any specific position they are all rounders. They all can sing like main vocalists but SM has favoristsm or maybe they are marketing their groups first to the korean market. SMs business strategy is weird that is why their groups are the most hated when they debuted but in the long run they are the most loved groups of kpop. Aespa has main issue about the lipsyncing but it is not the fault of the four young GIRLS. SM doesnt want them to sing live anywhere that they cant profit, if haters wants them to see singing live they need to go to concerts but unfortunately haters cant afford that is why they only bark without factual basis.
