Glad to see you enjoyed my guide! It means a lot to see it being reacted to as well, so thank you and Cat for this ^^ I feel like there's no guide in the world good enough to truly show how amazing these guys are, but I'm satisfied seeing it be of use and interest to people ~ i also think it must be helpful for them to all know several instruments to know better how to guide the others while making songs - recently while recording their song Logo for their latest album, they were feeling that the guitar was a bit weak and Yonghoon was able to solve it by suggesting using a different guitar, knowing about how the instruments work really broadens their minds! Thanks again, and may you have a good day! ^^

1. Cya, Kanghyun, Harin (+ Leedo, Seoho from ONEUS) play League of Legend as a team! Cya and Seoho admitted to be in highest tier too! (so yeah I think the mousepad is from LoL). Cya particularly said that if he wasn't a musician (or do anything related to music), he'd be a pro-gamer! A lot of his lyrics are game-inspired or straight up using game terms! 2. Robot Has Human Emotion (that was shown in the video) was the one that originally was released in CyA's soundcloud as a Leedo x Cya project (yes, with Leedo from ONEUS!) It has been turned into a ONEWE song in Planet Nine: Alter Ego with the same korean title and A.I. as english title! 3. Watermelon is tasty. What can I say lol. 4. The clip of Dongmyeong dancing is from The Unit (a survival show from KBS). That one song is Raise Me Up, an original The Unit song they performed for the final! (yes, Dongmyeong went into final stage in that one) 5. Personally I like that mannequin challenge performance too, but it was when they were still MAS, so I guess not many know it x'D 6. Cya's song for WEVE (titled: WEVE) was uploaded in his soundcloud! Updated, in the song LOGO, Cya sang "weve weve weve weve" in his rap part 7. Yonghoon really is afraid of dogs (sadly until now), but he can tolerate small dog that doesn't move much! Love Me is a song about the first time he touched a dog (korean title literal meaning is: A Dog I Touched For The First Time), and he felt weird but also amazed at the feeling. Thank you so much for reacting!! >

I'm glad you finally got to see a Onewe guide! Ollie's guide is the most informative out there and really shows how talented each member is. Most of the clips used here are short videos of covers or new pieces that Onewe uploads on Twitter under the hashtag Studio_We, just like Kanghyun's short guitar pieces (Kang Kita), Harin's drum and launchpad covers, etc. Regulus' piano and acoustic version are indeed beautiful. And you most definitely need to see End of Spring rock ver! Yonghoon has a fear of dogs because he was bitten as a child and that instance shocked him so much, he fainted. But that doesn't mean he doesn't find dogs adorable tho. He wrote Love Me after he started to overcome his fear, the lyrics talk about asking the dog to love him. Onewe are geniuses when it comes to doing impromptu songs. For one of their offline concerts last year, they did a bunch of impromptu songs based on the comments or words given by the audience and they all sound amazing. Most fans of all RBW artists pretty much have a love-hate relationship with the company. Yes, they're definitely one of the better companies especially when it comes to creative and artistic freedom and the staff gets along well with their artists but they still have a lot of questionable decisions and actions concerning all their groups. In some cases, you can see improvement on their part but they're still inconsistent, particularly in terms of equal promotion for all groups. I, too, love that they let their artists work with each other, like Yonghoon doing the whistle or Kanghyun doing the guitar for some of Oneus' and Mamamoo's songs but sometimes RBW tends to forget to credit them. We'll only know they worked on it because they'll mention it in a live. I just hope a time comes when RBW will be consistent in their improvement.

they were still MAS when they competed in the Unit and I love them in that survival show SO MUCH. they were not confident in their dancing skills and told everyone that they're willing to learn as much as they can. like the guide said, dongmyeong really shined with his dancing in the show and impressed a lot of the contestants and judges as he's in a band!

ayy our kband representative back at it again!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, and thank you to kat for the request!! and yeah, ollie0094's absolutely awesome; there's a twitter-fied version of the guide that keeps getting updated, and it also adds even more detail about their history, plus inside jokes, series of things they upload on all of onewe's platforms (like where you can find kanghyun's short guitar vids), and more! her channel is like ~peak~ organization, a perfect place for finding onewe content (so thank you a whole ton too, ollie!) oh and by now, i believe it's already been confirmed that harin and dongmyeong have finished songs up their storage, so it's just up to rbw to approve them for release i guess. in 2019, onewe as a whole already produced more than 200 unreleased songs (an early ver of 'logo' was performed once that year), so i'm definitely hoping they all see the light of day at some point 12:02 yep! that's a league of legends mousepad haha you're also correct with the song at 12:21! it was originally a track on cya's soundcloud, but it got re-arranged for the band by him. apparently the staff at rbw told him to save it for an official onewe release, but cya basically said 'fuck that' and uploaded it anyway 20:32 yonghoon was the one who wrote (and produced) it! and yeah, as you later asked, he really is afraid of dogs (even though he also managed to save a lost dog wandering around rbw with the help of the members and staff)! onewe definitely has a thing for writing and composing songs about their deepest traumas... that song was about the first time he ever touched a dog and the warm feeling he felt :') oh and 'end of spring' has official choreo! they dance a little bit of it in the relay dance, but purple kiss actually has a full dance practice video up on their channel from when they were still 365practice. fun fact: apparently pk actually caught onewe just hardcore busting out moves in the company elevator once (they seem pretty obsessed with dancing lately-)

rbw is one of, if not the best company in the game for musical freedom and idol expression tbh. they give a lot of freedom for their idols to act like crackheads without much reigning in as well as letting them produce their own music and use their own taste. they seem to largely let the idols do their own thing, within reason ofc. that said, they do have some issues (though I admit I don't know everything. I'm sure there's more than the bit I do know). they are infamous for being shitty at promotion for their groups. it was a running joke, though rooted in reality, about not fucking up purple kiss' debut promotion wise. they also have a few blackmarks from mismanaging and shafting their solo artists, the most well known in fandom is probably esna. and there's some friction among fans about their stance towards idols visuals, namely mamamoo and losing weight but I think some of it is misunderstandings on some fans parts as well as being jaded by the kpop industry in general about that particular topic. not to say rbw is perfect in this regard just I think some of the criticism is unwarranted. personally I think rbw is one of the better companies and if I had to pick a company to join rbw would be one of my top picks. but they are a company so theres bound to be skeletons in their closet.
@fennecfox38933 жыл бұрын
The thing about RBW being bad at promotion is something I've always wondered about. I think 90% of people saying this is doing it because they heard other people say it. Since RBW is a private company I wonder how people would know any facts about this. I've sometimes challenged people to show me some proof and have never seen any. The thing I can agree on is that they don't do a lot of international promoting but then I believe that's true for most k-pop companies, at least outside the big ones. Personally I'm honest in saying I don't know if they are good or bad at promoting, but I do believe this rumor is a typical internet exaggeration.
@onewevie3 жыл бұрын
@@fennecfox3893 I mean, as a fan of ONEWE, from before they signed with RBW, they are bad a promoting the band. Now I don't follow any other group from the company but it's really not hard to imagine that they're lacking with them too, considering past issues I witnessed with just ONEWE. RBW got better with the band when the members seemingly had to have a talk with the them because RBW's (non)actions were so bad it was actually damaging the relation between the members and the fans. That was in mid-2020 and the members now seems to have more 'power of decision' on how they get to release their work at least and there has been a lot of progress since then. But the company 'promotions' did really suck for a long time (I'm talking 3 years)..
@winterssong56073 жыл бұрын
@@fennecfox3893 This!! Exactly, I agree with you on so many levels. Thing is, it seems like the trend of hating and blaming everything to the company is very popular within kpop community and sadly you just can't deny that fact. No matter which companies represent them, fans in general will never get satisfied and always wanted to find literally any such excuses to blame them. I'm not saying that RBW is "THE" perfect company, definitely not the case here, like literally every company has flaws, no one is perfect and RBW for sure also has some flaws. Unfortunately, people just love to assume things and put their narratives to fit their own agenda, not to mention that they're also so quick to believe all of that. Like, for example, since we're already talking about RBW in general here, might as well bring up one of their artist; Mamamoo. Remember when the news came about Wheein decided not to renew her exclusive contract anymore under RBW, people (fans) started speculating and assuming thing, even made up their own theory. Basically, they made a bunch of points based on their assumptions and spread it around explaining that "It's all entirely because of RBW's fault, they mistreated Wheein so much, not giving her promotion, and so on". I mean yeah..as much as it sounds make sense to me, at the end of the day, all that are just mere assumptions from their preconceived notion. All in all, if I'm being honest here, imo RBW is the one of the better company out there that gives their artist so much creativity freedom and letting them to explore and participate for the making of their own songs. So I'm very grateful for all that, but then again some people just tend to forget (or deliberately ignore it) and goin on with the trend and keep finding any excuses to blame the company for everything.🤷♂️
@lightishredgummi3 жыл бұрын
I think RBW is one of the best when it comes to artist freedom, specifically. I can really only think of examples with ONEWE since they're the only group I actually keep up with a lot outside of official music releases, but they seem to do their own thing a lot. while most idols will only hint at comebacks and hide their new hair color like their career depends on it, ONEWE will straight up say "yea we're working on an album, I just got back from recording" and will jump on vlive just to show off their new hair colors lol. RBW also just seems a lot more willing to release songs that their artists worked on themselves. I'm pretty sure ONEWE has more than just lyric credits on every single one of their songs (although for End of Spring, CyA is the only member credited and he's the LAST one listed for lyrics and composition, probably meaning he didn't work on it much. that may also contribute to why it's not quite your taste, it's the song they worked on the least. RBW probably wanted a more "generic" pop-y title track for their full promotional debut to get more general recognition, which makes sense)

2:15 If you're not aware, "comfort women" were women who were pressed into sexual slavery in the 1930s and 40s by the Japanese military, and not just in Korea. I'll leave it there; if you want to look it up, just be warned there's a _lot_ to take in, and it's a painful read. I don't know how MAS got involved, but it was a really nice thing to do. Also, Butterfly, Finding Flower is a bop. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3q0Y3pnh76DjNU 4:15 Hyungu's pretty quiet and shy generally, though he's certainly become a lot more talkative over time. I always love how he doesn't try to steal the limelight when he's playing most of the time; he just stands over on the right doing his thing, until everyone stops to give him his solo, and he _pops off._ 😂 4:30 I'm not sure about the context, but apparently the Kang Kita series were originally short clips posted on their Twitter. Here's a playlist (by Ollie): kzbin.info/aero/PLC7TL9vC8YLAnPyCx7ACh3fZHc2uDyM4I 5:35 That ukulele cost him about $2-3. 😜 It's the one he used in the 모르겠다고 (I don't know) version video of Q: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXzFdqyejJx0f6c 7:00 Kanghyun actually does reading VLives where he just sits and reads quietly; the idea is to keep Weves company while they're reading or studying. He also produced a playlist of instrumental Onewe background music for when you're concentrating on other things: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXKZkGaoa9Nnh5I 7:15 Felix's thing is taekwondo; IIRC, Woojin was the kendo specialist in SKZ. 7:50 Harin is _such_ an underrated showman. He's so good he's got "style points" to spare! 😜 8:15 Very true. Harin does sometimes feel stifled at the back sometimes; he said on one of their live gigs that he'd like to spend a bit more time at the front with the others, as he does when he's playing the Cajon. 8:30 As with Kanghyun's ukulele, that kit looks a lot like the one Harin plays in the Q video. The colour does look different, but that may just be the lighting... 8:55 I definitely see Han in him some of the time, also maybe a little bit of Pentagon's Yuto. 13:50 Yup, that's proto-AI. 🙂 14:35 DO IT. The original's good, but I _much_ prefer the rock version. 16:50 I'm sorry, but I can't watch Dongmyeong on the keytar doing End of Spring without thinking about the Shoe..! 🤣 If you don't know what I'm talking about, _you need to see this stage:_ kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2HNm6muerata9E 19:25 You know, I've never made that connection, but now you've said it... 🤔 20:05 Honestly, I know the Mendes one, but mostly because of Dreamcatcher's cover..! (obviously, it's better than the original) 🤣 22:50 In Asia, blood type is kind of like your Zodiac sign; it's thought of as another way to define your personality. I know as a kid it always confused me when I'd get Japanese video games (like the Street Fighters, for example), and be baffled at why they even _thought_ about the characters' blood types... 😜

A few months ago, RBW Entertainment acquiried WM Entertainment, the agency of groups Oh My Girl, B1A4, and ONF. I was not that thrilled by this news at first because WM Entertainment is more a family than it is an entertainment (the kindest entertainment any trainee can be in) . WM's CEO is literally a dad to the artists of WM ENTERTAINMENT and he cares so much for his kids(all the artists). When ONF passed the audition for a survival show the CEO cried with them, when a trainee or artist has a birthday he celebrates it with them and when they win awards they party all night, popping champagne(kidding...they blow out candels on a cake and celebrate) The CEO also allows a lot of interactios between the different groups(girls and boys) which is very different from many companies. This also makes them such a phenomenal company. Anyways so I did not want this beautiful ambience and harmony to be destroyed so I was worried when RWB Ent aquired them. However, nothing much has changed since then and I trust RBW Ent will not enforce power and control on WM and that both companies will build a sucessful, harmonious and happy cooperation in future times to come.
