Wait the BMS controller program memory can be dumped just like that? It's not locked from the factory??

Depends on the onewheel hardware revision. Some XR 4210 and all newer revisions (afaik) are locked and can't be read or flashed. Older ones are accessible. (You still get only compiled code which is not the easiest to work with.)
