ONething i would like to see is the removal of the battery. Can the battery be removed and put back to check if the computer system will detect the removal of the battery and trigger the computer to disable the system altogether?

Nice great video. Looking at it disassembled, changing the tire shouldn’t void the warranty. If you do have to, I wonder if they tell you to just send the hub motor and not the whole board.

Perhaps. But my experience with FM is that they’ll want the whole thing sent to them. I predict 3rd party tires very soon though.

Cool to see it disassembled. From a standpoint of time, how long did it take to get to removing the maghandle?

Only took about 10 minutes to disassemble. No wire clips to mess with. Putting back together took about 20 minutes

@@joemcclinton disconnect the BMS from the battery and it unfortunately, and more importantly unjustifiably outside FM profit goals, bricks the board

No. I did not disconnect the controller from the battery.

That is what I came to this video to find out. The bricking of the board by FM on disconnect is criminal. It makes it impossible to disconnect and ship the battery ahead of travel.
