Onewheel GT Goat Tire 1st Thoughts

Another great one. Congrats on changing your own tire. I never done it and would never do it myself. Biggups my gee! 4:41 I remember that butter feeling of the Endoro tire. Very soft and nimble tire. And the difference of Knobby tire and the street tire is night and day. The street tire is actually easier and a better tire for beginners. I’m so happy for you. Keep up the great work. Most definitely. Not many trails but we do have a few. I’ll try it out and let you know what I think. I’ve been riding on the street with a higher psi. About 20. With the enduro I kept it low. I’ll lower it when I hit a trail and make a video. Thanks for watching my friend 🙌🏾

Thank you my friend!! It’s gonna be a while before I get to the trail pro 2. I don’t ride trail much. I’ll make it a point to get out there and try some with the goat but I’m gonna try the cloud next. But eventually I’ll try it. Let me know what you think when you get it.

@@therealbergexperience5640 Trail pro 2 is the one that set the highest speed atm on Float Life VESC board. I would say it's quite worth it even with the trail ecstatic. I would love the cloud too but it won't fit the GT as of now.

@@breezeey9113 I changed hubs so my GT now takes XR tires. It’s pretty awesome. A bit of a different feel. Bigger wider tire.

I love the goat!!! It’s way rad in n the dirt as well. Even though 99% of my riding is on the street. And it’s a great nimble but stable ride in the street!

I have the OW GT on the Enduro and the Leaperkim Patton on the street tire. The OW is my first love, most fun. The Patton is wonderful but I really prefer it for long distance/faster rides. The EUC does not give me the ride that I get/want from my OW.

The enduro has been my go too. I would get 1 again but after getting the goat I want to try out some new ones. Slick is next. The cloud Im thinking. I have the street tire on the Lynx even though I don’t ride. I will this week though. I’m ready. The Onewheel is the sweet spot though. So glad I kept it. Thanks for watching!!

I’m not a pro yet. Only trick I can do is not fall 😂 I am pretty comfortable on it though. Them long rides helped. Over 80 miles in a day. Been a while since I’ve done 1. They’re fun adventures. I’d never heard of that tire either. I looked at the comments on the facebook group and it seemed to be the 1 everyone was suggesting. For sure I’ll try the cloud next time. The keys is awesome for kayaking. Lots of mangrove trails!! If you make it down here definitely let me know. We can collab for few 🎥

ever since i had a bike tire blow up on me as a kid i have been sketched as hell putting air in any tire lol, i don't think i have the balls to get the PSI up enough to set the bead lol

@@therealbergexperience5640 ok so a month has passed, got a used GT, needed a new tire. got the GOAT, The beads on this this would not seat lol, im looking at the package saying "DO NOT EXCEED 40 PSI TO SEAT THE BEAD!" and then looking down at the pressure in the tire and its at 70 and just thinking to myself, i never expected to die filling up a onewheel tire but here we are. anyways an hour of using ratchet straps, any and all types of lube i could find, i hear those two terrifying pops. i get to the point of putting the board back together and notice my mistake. the tire is on backwards. FUUUUUUCK!!!. lol anyways its on there now and i can safely say it makes the board actually enjoyable to ride. the old worn out stock GT tire felt like it wanted to throw me off at any chance it got.

You gotta try a new tire My Guy!! It makes the board feel totally different. I used to dread the tire change but after this last time I don’t mind at all. It’s not too hard. There’s a crevice in the rim that you sit 1 edge in and the tire will work right off. Next tire change I definitely do a video. Try the enduro homie. Soft composition. Thing is sweet. I’m trying a slick whenever this tire goes out. Thank you for watching Homeboy!!!

I love the Onewheel. It’s a different feel. Like a skateboard I guess but it’s limited when it comes to speed. The Lynx is gonna murder it. I’m ready for it. I will ride it this week 🙌🏾

@@therealbergexperience5640 by the way, for the Lynx, make sure you set the PWN, speed, and speed alarm correctly. Factory settings won’t allow you to go over 33mph for example (PWM set to like 65% from factory. Most people set this as high as it’ll go.)
