You are going to get some really unique shots for your videos with that thing. It’s like a super low angle close to the ground drone shot... that a drone would crash trying to get! Cool.

Did you ever end up having any problems with the traction pad coming off of the grip tape on front pad? Getting kush and traction pads next week.
@MikeErickson3 жыл бұрын
It's still on there now so it's been over a year and it's just start to come off now.

@@MikeErickson Thanks! I'm like 10 miles from the TFL so I think I'll just have them take the grip tape off front and place the pad on when I get my kush nug & float plate. Was thinking about that xtrarad tire too. I prefer the feel of the pint like my skateboard in the 80's/90s....might get an XR in the future for trails since there are a lot around here.

I’ve been thinking of getting these cuz my rear leg fatigue is out of control. It gets so bad that I feel like I’m gonna collapse or something cuz I can’t feel it any more, and I start to veer left.
@MikeErickson4 жыл бұрын
These help, but not as much as working out those muscles and stretching them out. I find I get the most foot fatigue when I'm dehydrated.
@Lurch6854 жыл бұрын
Mike Erickson that’ll be rough. I had a heart incident 5 years ago that sapped my leg strength entirely. I had to walk with a cane. This is gonna be an uphill battle!

@@Lurch685 I'm sorry to hear that, sounds terrible. On the lighter side, it's a pretty amazing time to be alive, with such great tools to help with that recovery! Thanks for sharing!

Did you use the kush version of the pro pads? I’ve ordered the stock size pads and the same kush. Donno how it’s gonna fit.
@MikeErickson3 жыл бұрын
I had the Kush Nug High and I'm pretty sure it came with its own grip tapes.

Great review dude, how did you apply the colour stripes to the footpads?
@michaelmcadams99914 жыл бұрын
Those are the traction pads he actually did the review on.

Michael McAdams hey, ahh so they are part of the design of the pads, good to know, thanks. Thought they were a self customisation.
@MikeErickson4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! It's two separate items - ProRide Traction Pads I stuck right to the grip tape and the Kush Nug Hi from Float. All from Craft and Ride. I'll add the links in the description.

Thanks so much man!
@michaelmcadams99914 жыл бұрын
Good review. Just noting though that the “extra” space on nug hi is front to back and you ride your back foot like I do almost parallel to the back fender. So that probably doesn’t help much? I got the Kush nug and love it. Also, hanging toe on front and heel on back helps with control and tight turns and carving.

Where did u get them all from?
@MikeErickson4 жыл бұрын
I bought it all from Craft and Ride. Took a while for them to ship though - I think they're pretty busy.

I usually ride at or just below pushback - so around 14 mph.

theres no way that the textured footpads have more traction due to surface area , nice vid tho

are they rubber?
@MikeErickson4 жыл бұрын
No - some sort of hard foam. Rubber would probably get too slippery if they got wet.

Yep, the pint has a better led light strip than the XR - but it's not very bright.
