I hit that like button on your vid. Very informative, especially since you talked about (and personally showcased) many features that most other youtubers didn't provide. My only complaint about your video is that the music is too loud compared to your voice. I had to bump up the volume in order to hear you, but then my ears would blow up because the music was too loud. Overall though, great video and thank you for sharing.
@gooz4 жыл бұрын
Hey J P thanks for commenting and letting me know! I was hoping to showcase features not covered in other videos so I’m glad I helped. You and a few others mentioned the volume problem. I’m not sure why the music to voice leveling was off in this video compared to my other videos. I’m sorry you had to play with the volume to preserve your ears😅 I’ll make sure to fix that in future videos and thanks for watching and liking! And you’re welcome😊

Nice clean video and simple clean setups on your matching boards. I have a Pint that I have owned for a few years now, and am planning to pick up a used XR as soon as the market is flooded with them, when the GT starts shipping. The range of the Pint is nowhere near enough, once people realize how fun it is to ride. I purchased a Chi Quart battery to fix this, but I can't help myself. The XR just seems to great to not have. Plus having two means I can loan one to most friends to share rides.

The XR with the whisper tire is perfection. Range is also boosted in a BIG way. I can get 26 miles on my XR/whisper and still have 20% left.
@gooz3 жыл бұрын
Wow that sounds like a good upgrade to get that mileage! Did you change the tire yourself or bring it to a shop?
@johnd93573 жыл бұрын
@@gooz did it myself. Took me about an hour and a half and I went slow. It’s easy, and SO worth it. My XR is now quieter than my pint. The whisper tire makes NO noise at all, carves so good, and boosts acceleration/range. About the only drawback is that it won’t last as long as the Vega. But that’s no big deal, I’m happy to swap at 1000 miles.
@gooz3 жыл бұрын

Hey you’re welcome Sergey! That’s awesome you’re from the area! I’ll be sure to let you know😁 probably when it’s warmer again and the pandemic is over. What’s the best way to reach you? The XR’s got a higher top speed but I find myself nosediving more when I chase speed and accelerate too quickly. So maybe it’s better being safer and going slower on the Pint. Plus, it’s great for carving!

@@gooz great, thanks! My #: 55one4040481. I keep cruising even in the cold weather (just had a session yesterday - around 14 miles in one shot) - so you can count on me any time of the year😉 Btw, VNR helps a lot during the cold weather. Otherwise it would have been a very short trip. Especially on pint.

Would a different tire on the XR help make it more nimble?

Yeah, I dont know why your Pint is turning red at 20% and not letting you ride. Mine goes all the way down to 5% before turning red and turns yellow at 10%.

Wow 5%? Yeah a couple of people recommended charging the OW’s for 24 to 72 hours to rebalance the battery cells and it helped!

The Pint is NOT 16mph. It's actually 14 and pushback about kills you keeping your from 16.

No it depends on the setting your using, I’ve hit 16 using pocket rocket or whatever it’s called and the uphill setting.

at 21% battery life it not normal for indicator to turn red and shut off. your battery cells are unbalanced . you need to charge full over night to rebalance, then you can ride further. Why would u put it in delirium to carve smh🤦🏼♂️ if ur trying to carve put it in mission. Delirium is for trails mission is for smooth pavement so u can carve easier
@gooz4 жыл бұрын
There’s no wrong mode. It’s all preference. I like Delirium for its more aggressive, responsive ride. I’m saying even with the XR on its most responsive setting, the Pint can still carve more smoothly and sharper on its least responsive mode.
@gooz4 жыл бұрын
Even on Mission, the XR turns sluggishly compared to the Pint. You’d have to get a tire change with rounded lips.
@stbro33644 жыл бұрын
@@gooz yea that is true I’ve personally had my xr for more than 2 years I’ve also noticed that mission is the best to carve with for me bc the nose isn’t as high in the air. That mode is made to feel like a snowboard
@gooz4 жыл бұрын
@@stbro3364 nice. Yeah that’s true that Mission feels smoother. It takes more pressure to turn, though. Do you snowboard too? Even when I snowboard I prefer an aggressive camber board for responsiveness lol.
