As Alan Watts said that which appears to divide in fact joins. Take a holistic perspective even in a physical sense and no thing is inherent but all things are interdependent. That's some big onion we're working on here! The smaller it gets the sweeter it is.

@@JasonGregoryAuthor Effortless Living. It was so detailed for a modern person learning Taoism. I vaguely remember you talking about actually physically letting go. Do you think physically moving slower and consciously letting go of muscles/nerves enhances the Tao in yourself? I find Taoism hard to follow with concepts. I need a concrete measure to be one with the Tao. After doing this I find that my day is more fluid and emotions center out and I become content. Didn’t mean to write this much, but I’m so curious to hear what an expert has to say on this subject. Thanks again for what you do!

Thank you so much for these videos, they're an enormous help and blessing. I've been a Buddhist practitioner for a decade (from East Asia, to boot lol), an online content creator the past few years. I was in the "flow state", having somewhat tapped into my "original face" after years of spiritual practice. Ironically this placed me in a position where my egoic identity has not only been hardening from "praise and "recognition", but also continuously "challenged" by consumers claiming possession over myself (the "machine") and the content I create (the "product"), on top of having faced the painful loss of beloved ones. It's taken me 2 years to untangle everything, and your videos have come at just the right moment, especially this series. Very grateful to have found your channel. Through my experience, what you've said rings loud and true to me, and provided clarity and insight to my situation, now that I'm finally in a position to observe the irony (and hilarity) of this cosmic laundry wringer my bruised, battered ego has been put through, lol.

You need a baseline level of qi to understand the tao. Its like you need it in you to be able to know it outside of you. The tao cannot be understood intellectually- it is an undeniable observation of the way things are that is possible from increased awareness that stems from sufficient energy

@@bubsyoutube you would harness it through breathing a specific way. Qigong and tai chi combine this breathing with slow movements as you described to enhance the physical sensation of 'awareness'. There are methods to gather, generate, and accumulate- all of which are different in its effects. Is this a topic that is important for you? I am releasing a video for how to start these basic practices this friday- i invite you to review them and if they resonate im happy to open this conversation further. @@TheModernDating I don't know if you have had the opportunity to parent a child. I had the privilege to raise five. I have never observed a baby with an ego. Children inevitably develop egos and we try not to overdo this as parents. Adults are best advised to pare back their egos. An overdeveloped ego is toxic and an impediment to awakening. A less developed ego could better be described as one that more readily enables flowering of the Tao in consciousnes. It is not the ego that bears fruit, it is the Tao.

much appreciated, brother in meditation my attention was brought to a metaphor for what we 'are' that employed fibre optics, it being light seemingly 'transmitting' information. In a conventional sense, we might assume that we're the 'hardware' that reinterprets said information [into all possible 'appearances', like sound, thought, and other 'perceivables'], except that there Is no hardware - we're the 'medium' - the light - itself [having never left its source]

Oh that was beautiful! Unconsciously, I started witnessing my mind and my body. I cannot put my heart and soul into any work because I am completely engaged with myself-thoughts that arise for no purpose( i see my mind taking over that control), and my body. I feel extremely depressed about this. Also, I don't feel like living with this world. I look at people and constantly think, "Have you ever realised, the least, thought of what is the truth?" I am completely turning inward and also feeling depressed, sir. Are there any ways to lift myself up without losing this engagement with myself? Also, what is the purpose?
@universalbeing12892 жыл бұрын
Observe completely. Accept completely. Do not react or attach to thoughts, feelings, situations, other people etc. Let the Universe/Tao/Brahman/God etc act as it may. Let it all happen by itself. Wu-Wei. Actionless-Action. Whatever is in this moment is the purpose. To look for a deeper meaning, means to lose this moment.

It would be so much easier to identify with the universe and not this subjective physical body if we weren't stuck inside of it for each lifecycle. If we could quantum leap at-will, telepathically, and be in somebody else's body or experience their viewpoint directly, instead of being stuck in this one body, whether we're actually "here" on a deeper level or not, it would help greatly.

Recently my soul has been allowing me to experience things in my sleep. For example it (the invisible energetic tube of omnipotence) will allow me to hold hands with it as a seperate awareness and I can feel the omnipotent eternal love that it is. I also went to my Absolute Reality on earth it was like re born but not just re born re in carnated just me and him in an empty street like wow amazing memory. There's always a message in these trips , it shows me that the self willed ego is just crumbs. Q: if I enter moksha, where will I go after death?
@universalbeing12892 жыл бұрын
If you enter Moksha you realize, death is an illusion of the ego. The fear of not existing. Birth, sustain and death all happen simultaneously in this moment. This moment is all there is. It is eternal. Only its composition changes. The true essence of you (atma/soul/consciousness etc) is eternal. You are this moment.
