Onex testing begins

S-3 / Ep-15 Phase 1 testing of the Onex project has begun. Ground runs and some high speed work. We found a couple of things to work on already!

The Onex is history. The builder decided that he was ready to downsize and without ever flying off the test time, sold the Onex and his Cherokee 180, and the snow mobiles, and the four wheelers, and a boat or two and a vehicle or two. He still agrees that building the Onex was some of the best fun he ever had. Just time to move on. Pix and details of your Super Stol would be terrific!! Where are you located, perhaps I need to look at it! Send details in PM please.

I would adjust the needle a 1/2 turn to correct low speed mixture should idle at full stop. Beautiful ship single seat looks comfy! You know the Revflow free prime function? Crack the throttle push mixture in for 5 seconds summer 7 seconds winter mileage may vary ...Clear prop! Should fire on 1st blade

Thanks man. You may have noticed that the engine seemed to "lope" a bit at idle. We believe the throttle adjustment helped with the engine stopping when the throttle was all the way pout, but as you have stated, the mixture we believe., also requires some adjustment to end the "lope." @@TangoSierra2022 The Revlow carb is sweet once dialed in no changes will be needed unless you switch fuels. I like it better than the Aerocarb! I enjoy one an a Vintage Lindy winner but only have raw footage kzbin.info?search_query=nx237f
