Whenever I see Arin and Chris interact it does kind of remind me that Arin probably would've ended up better off if he stuck with his newgrounds boys like Chris did rather than partnering with Maker and going full corpo. Theres a level of openness, genuineness and self awareness to the comedy of Oneyplays, it's not pandering, there's not a 40+ year old man calling you his lovelie or overacted live bits where they try to sell a t-shirt. Feels like he's stuck too deep into this company he's created and now he can't go back

@@MonkeyWrench28 matt refused to help dingdong when he was looking for help in ridiculing game grumps for creating dream daddy and that more or less told him that matt valued his job over his friend. arin directly caused dingdong to make an attempt at his own life.

​@@xXEmo54Xx not correct, I've listened to the entire stream where dingdong covers this, he said some criticisms of dream daddy which then got turned into him "hating" it which caused a rift, matt didn't come to his defense when he was being gaslit and targeted because of this rift, dingdong would talk to Matt who would sympathize but then wouldn't openly say anything and by silence sided with GG, dingdong was outted from the closet during all of this and he feared it would ruin the game project him and Julian are still working on He got betrayed, lied too, targeted, outted and thrown in the middle of arins fragile ego and hypocrisy and vitriol for basically nothing more than not liking a game they made it was ridiculous All of this during a huge depression caused him to have a borderline suicide attempt which he also sorta didn't describe as a full attempt but he was very suicidal and struggled but recovered All in all it's probably one of the worst things arin and GG has ever done besides go woke and attack Jon and Oney I never watched them EVER and I feel very vindicated in that decision, arin was never funny to me, he always seemed like a try hard wannabe who was hypocritical and very immature, like he almost seems like he has arrested development

​​​@@PodreyJenkin138It's crazy that so many GG followers were jumping in as well. Suzy is the cunt who ousted ding dong openly as gay because of his disagreement with dream daddy. GG followers then tracked down ding dongs family and harassed them and told them there son was gay. That played a large role in ding dong getting suicidal because his family disowned him after that. Luckily Julian is an amazing partner to him and helped ding dong through it. Suzy and Arin and anyone else involved in that are horrible nasty people and it infuriates me that GG never received backlash for it. That's something I always admire about Chris as well because he will never pretend to be someone he isn't. He will absolutely stand by his friends and will not appease to people who are in the wrong. He called out Arin for his bullshits. Chris handles drama very well.

Arin basically bullied Ding Dong into a near suicide attempt and also outed him as gay, all due to DD hating Dream Daddy and criticizing GG for it. His fragile ego burned all bridges between him and the Oneyplays boys, as well as Jontron and later SuperMega. It's not GG itself is shit, people can like what they like, but Arin himself is an objectively bad person. If you brought up anyone he's collabed with from the past from his Newgrounds days he'd probably call them nazis, and he still inists Jontron is racist. I don't like using the term "woke" because its so meaningless (plus supporting things like LGBTQ+ is just being a good person), but he's South Park's PC Principal character turned up to 11, he's extremely aggressive about being progressive. Every edgy joke is safe edgy, the worst you get is saying fuck. All said, it's completely fine if you continue to watch them, even brand new things they produce. But I wouldn't actually support them outside of watching.
