Chris Pineda it’s his real voice. A lot of people were put off by it at first. If you go to the first Sleepy Cast episodes you’ll see a lot of comments about Zach’s voice. People thought he was playing around, but that his is real voice. It’s like an orgasm for our ears after we succumb to it’s coercion.

Ok, so this has been rolling around in my head since this video came out, but I've heard that exact owl hoot at 6:55 before. When I was a kid, I had a DVD copy of Strawberry Shortcake: Moonlight Mysteries, and I'd usually just leave it on the menu screen when I wasn't watching it. When it was on that screen, it'd play a 1-minute-long song on loop, and that exact owl noise was in there. I'd be fucking around in the living room with that shit on repeat for hours at a time. I've forgotten nearly my entire childhood, but that stock owl noise is one of the few things I remember.

IlliardBilliard i know this is 10 months old, but i had the same thing with the same owl noise. when i stayed at my grandma’s house, she had this Scooby-Doo CD that had some of the movies on it. it was night time and she was outside smoking a cigarette, but i didn’t know that. the screen on the TV was on the menu, and it had this creepy music playing, and every so often, it would play the owl sound with some occasional other creepy sounds. most of the house was dark, besides the dining room and the room the TV was playing on. i was in the dining room, and i heard the owl noise and it scared the shit out of me. i ran outside and saw her and said “come inside! turn the DVD on! im scared!”. she turned it on and i fell asleep that night watching it, still half-scared from the encounter. so thats my experience with that sound.

I just discovered this series, it reminds me of my first time going through it. The game environment stimulates terror so well that the smallest thing will make you jump. Even when you have played regularly the monsters are powerful enough that you feel vulnerable without any upgrades and they still deal a good amount of damage regardless so you always have to be on your guard.

I agree but that's a little shortlived. I played it today for a few hours and once you understand how the enemies work,it stops being particularly scary. It can be tense, but that's it. Killing the werewolf is fun, but the tree that comes after it is practically impossible to find. I would consistently find the werewolf but I wandered around for like an hour and never found the tree
