The death games was like a whole movie in the span of 24 minutes. Dave got a gun and became a villain, killing two random others, then the two remaining girls teamed up on him but were forced to fight one another to the death while he watched and cackled like a madman, but one of them nobly decided to sacrifice herself so spiderman girl could finish him off in the final round.

Shizuku was handed a gun with only one bullet (which is why she was so hesitant to shoot) and turns out you're allowed to reload the guns but only during the final showdown, so Dave had just as much of a chance to use his gun as Shizuku.
