Hi Kinga. Welcome to Canada! I live in the Montreal area and just got back from a motorcycle trip out to Manitoba. If you head that wY take Hwy 17 through Ontario. Breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Anyways enjoy your time here.

Just a little bit of advice for all those dealing with Cdn insects...............when you get to camp you should light a little fire....................and make it rather smokey as it deters bugs!

Hi Kinga, good to see you going to the wilder parts again and camping, and what a really good idea bunk a biker is, but I started itching seeing all those bugs flying around you. Here in the UK if I go to the highlands of Scotland that are plagued by midge's we use a natural product made by Avon cosmetics, called Skin so soft, I think it's citronella oil-based moisturiser, the bugs hate it, even the Army use it when on manoeuvres rather than chemicals like Deet. Thanks for the video.

Nice Kinga. I like that you show the people you meet and talk to, instead of only the views and gravel. I assume you're on the North Shore of the Gaspé. There are some really nice villages along the Saint Lawrence and at some point you probably want to cross into the interior. There are gravel roads along the peninsula and across into the South Shore. They are both spectacular and you ought to check them out both. Wish I was there with you. Love that part of the world. If you can, go across to New Brunswick and further east to Prince Edward Island. From there, take a ferry to Newfoundland and exploit it and, if time, return to Quebec along the North Shore of the Saint Lawrence. Watch out, you may see cold weather anytime after the beginning of November. Enjoy!

Not bothering to convert Canadian dollar to USD. Assuming the exchange rate is equal, which they’re not, $2.20 per liter converts to $8.34 per gal. Ride safe and have fun. 🇺🇸 In Texas we’re at $3.50 per gal. for now.

$3.20 dollars per gallon in my area of USA, Lot of gouge in the name of war. Bugs only get worse. No-seeums, my bike would be brown with them covering it in the morning. If they get into your helmet they made a long day a lot longer, welts big as quarters. Best to have your gear on when you come out of the tent. Now, TICKS, Lyme Disease. They are small as a a pin head and hard to find on you. Prevalent all up east. Safe travels.

The bush of Canada, home to mor biting bugs than you can shake a stick at; horse flies, deer flies, no-see-ums, mosquitoes and the dreaded little black flies. If you didn't have to wear a head net the bugs wern't bad yet. 😬
