Great video Kinga. Pleased to see that your new found friend is on the mend and re-cuperating in hospital. I try to use a less aggressive tyre so that it last's longer. Most times I get away with it. What work or what part's have you had to replace on your F800GS in the time you've being touring?

Thanks Frank. I prefer to use soft compound tires because they provide better grip off-road and they're so much safer on wet pavement. The things that failed on the road were only my rear shock and fuel pump. But I did some updates as well. It took me 5 years to set this bike the way I wanted. So the major changes are Outback Motortek engine guards and skid plate, TFX rear shock and progressive springs, Excel rims, Camel Tank, LED lamp (no name, got it from Ali express), Scotts steering damper, Akrapovic exhaust and few other mini details 😆

That certainly speaks volumes for the BMW's reliability if in all those miles you've only had issues with a rear shock. Rotax make very good engine's that's for sure. Also supply the aero industry. You're a legend-role model & a great Ambassador for motorcycling.
