After being robbed in Moncton, I just didn't feel like being on my own and was lucky Zac wasn't too far away. Zac took me for a little ride around his backyard in New Brunswick-finally we hit some gravel and explored some wild nature!

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Been following you around for years, I'm nigh on 70 but still ride a Honda Rebel 500. I live in Wales but spent three weeks in Annapolis Royal a good few years ago and made friends with a fantastic couple who took me on a trip to see Digby and the estuary known as Digbys Gut. John Wayne used to holiday there and I had the privilege of walking in the Big Mans property as my friend was changing out the hot pools pump. Remember if you see a tree or a bit of grass you're VERY likely to pick up ticks on your legs whilst camping which could lead to Lymes disease. REALLY wish I was still fit enough to go back and visit but time and tide waits for no man/woman. REALLY felt at home in Nova Scotia as I reckon the land mass was attached to my home County of Pembrokeshire eons ago. You have my sympathies over your shock at man's need to steal. Apologies for the long message but us OAPs have a natural tendency to just go on and on...ride on girl...

...In the 1960s I made the same ferry crossing on a ferry called Princess of Acadia....It was formerly the Princess of Nanaimo here in B.C. .....I have the distinction of having crossed both the Bay of Fundy AND the Georgia Strait on the very same ferry.....Happy trails, I don't ride any more, but my 1979 Yamaha 750 Special waits patiently in my shop .....John(west coast,Can.)

If you happen to get to Ontario mosquitoes have been known to drive Moose from the bush onto the highways. We have thieves in all the towns and cities and it is getting worse. Take care and enjoy your trip.

New subscriber. You are now in my home Province, I am from the Annapolis Valley. I am not sure of your route but if you can get to Cape Breton and take the Cabot Trail, it would be an awesome bike ride, albeit a cold one this time of year. If you do do the Cabot Trail, do it counterclockwise, less tourist do it in that direction. There will be a sign that says Cabot Trail Left but don't go that way, about 20 minutes past that sign there will be a way to go counterclockwise. All the best on your travels.

Hi Kinga, I am sorry and embarrassed that you were robbed in my Country. How can I help? I rode the the Trans Labrador this summer and it was great! I only needed my bug net on a couple of evenings. I highly recommend getting the full bug jacket and get it before you get to Labrador . There are not many stores outside of Happy Valley and Labrador City. Riding on the steel grate is something that you will have to get used to. Lots of the bridges in Newfoundland and Labrador are steel grates. The worst one is just south of Goose Bay over the Churchill River. Have a loose grip with your hands and a tight grip with your bum! Enjoy! Happy to tell you all about it if you want.

Também moro literalmente 1 km onde suas coisas foram roubadas. há muitos usuários de drogas naquele local, e os roubos são muito comuns... mas geralmente não durante o dia. Até eu fiquei surpreso ao ver isso. Eu tenho uma Honda CB650R, e New Brunswick tem estradas incríveis e tranquilas com ótima pavimentação para andar de bicicleta.

I'm glad you're back on the road Kinga after your bad experience in Moncton. Fortunately, for the most part, people are helpful and genuine! When I'm on the road with my motorcycle, like last summer. I was then in Spain and Portugal I only met nice and helpful people! That ensures that I continue to drive, discover, enjoy and meet other people. By far most people are friendly and ok!
