The whole reason I subbed to this channel was to watch the game play of this specific game. I found you in a quick search after watching Mark and Jack curse their way through it for about 15 minutes....which wasn't altogether pleasant. Took me about a minute to hit that subscribe button and I love that I can actually watch your vids around my kids without worrying about what you're going to say next. Also, say algae however you want. We all know what you mean. :) If you're moving it to another channel then a link to it would be helpful so people like me can move along and watch without clogging up your main channel.

I appreciate that Blitz did not go blind into the game like Mark and Jack, I was able to understand how to play the game after watching his videos and they are really pleasant to watch as he takes his time and realises that it's a complicated game that needs dedication... 59:30 I tried to tell you episodes ago. Eletrolizers, lavatories, showers dont care What goes in them so long as its liquid and has some part of Oxygen in it. Contaminated water works great, no filtering needed. if only you did the Vomiter base you would have been fine

I came up with an idea to make a semi self sufficient colony. Since pufts consume contaminated oxygen and make you algae if you manage to lock a puft in a room you can make a storage container and set it to only contain contaminated dirt. Then only use outhouses and get a decent amount of people to produce a lot of contaminated dirt. Then the puft turns the contaminated dirt into algae that you turn into oxygen. Then you need to plant enough meal lice to become self sufficient on food so you dont have to waste water on mush. Then you take all your puke and turn it into enough water to make oxygen from the algae. The biggest problem of this is that you need dirt for the outhouse and sand for a water purifier.

Looks like the every other ladder thing works, but if you watch them it's much slower for them to go up and down than a continuous ladder. Almost 2 to 1 difference in movement speed. Take a look. I wouldn't want you to use the every other ladder in your next base and slow down all vertical movement. Great video though! Love your channel :)

make tiny boxes and specialize them so you can condense and store gasses into liquids and do one for oxygen and pump it around your base to cool it then make a battery room to warm up the air and evaporate liquids

Chlorine freezes to a solid at -150.7F/-101.5C and condenses into a liquid at ~-29.3F/~-34C. Your chlorine is at about -50C, so you need to get the chlorine WAY colder for it to freeze. :) I love that this game has realistic fluid thermomechanics :D

Pretty sure you were correct, the splashing was causing water to disapper. Liquid storage tanks like that need a gas permeable tile at the top so the trapped gas can escape, or you will get weird liquid reactions from the pressure

Good stuff. For long dig projects up or down you might want to go diagonally (2 up, 1 to the side) so you don't have to fetch building materials for ladders, just dig.

I think it would still be efficient for you to build at least one or two of the slime converter things. At least it'll get rid of the slime that emits contaminated oxygen, and you get water out of it. I mean, the slime converter things still emit contaminated oxygen, but only to a certain amount so you won't have to have an air purifier on indefinitely and use up your sandstone supply. :P I dunno, just food for thought :)

8:30 you allowed the freezer-room to be de-pressurized by completing the loop, that pressure was building with out the pump inside looping the gasses (and pressure) back around into the system. its like a desktop waterfall display, 3 pools of water flowing from top to bottom, but with out the flow of water from the pump the flow is clogged. i know liquid and pressure are different but basically the concept of flow is the primary observant to behold here. like so maybe someone will see this (;

As you go further away from base, I would say its a good strategy building every other ladder, it takes too much time delivering material and building it. Not to mention on their way to delivery encountering bathroom breaks, bed time, or meal time.

Cooling contaminated oxygen to a liquid decontaminates it. Storing slime and contaminated dirt in one storage unit in an enclosed door and pumping the contaminated oxygen out into the chillers might be more viable than the slime to algae machines. Then try pumping the liquid oxygen into the main part of the base using insulated liquid pipes (to just outside the lox room.) In the new release you might want to check to see if the hydrogen generators and eletrolizers work the same way.

I can see what you mean about the views dying off, I personally probably wouldn't watch another season of this, after seeing what the game is about, I wouldn't really be interested in more of it. but I enjoyed it. and honestly, this seems like a game, where the beginning is easy, and it just gets harder as you progress. I kinda think it'd be more interesting if you keep pushing this fairly stable game, further, like...start exploring further and further afield, you've been almost only "exploring" just to find more slime and algae as needed.
