In the US you actually have a lot of pressure from the voice actor’s Union, even in non-unionized work, so they would rather just get a legal adult than get into possible issues hiring a minor. In Japan the voice actor is just an employee of a bigger company that basically shoves work on them which they basically HAVE to accept or lose work opportunities. That is, unless you become a big-name actor who gets paid big numbers per voiced line.

This is why I love kuuderes. They appear cold and stoic but they're honest and won't physically assault their love interest like a tsundere would. Plus they do have a caring side to them, at least when it comes to the person they're in love with or those close to her. Honestly tsunderes are overrated, I'll never understand why people love them.
