The NEW DMZ Map Was Not Made For Solos...

I decided to try to kill the DMZ Rhinoceros and Sniper Commanders in one raid as a solo. These new commanders can be found on the brand new night vision Koschei Bunker map! This map is pain for a solo. I hope you all enjoy the video!

I love how the devs just said "f it" and made 2 bosses, surrounded by tier 3 ai and a trillion traps, both with a ridiculous amount of hp, one has a riot shield and the other peeks you with a sniper rifle. It is just a trst of patience and rng.

for anyone only looking to kill the 2 bosses, ALWAYS use the Taraq bridge entrance, find the 2 barrack keys and take the shortcut to Factory. There's an additional shortcut in there so you can get to the bosses faster.

I got left behind covering my team extracting a hostage as the gas was closing in. I had no choice but to take the tunnels to survive as I couldn’t make it to an exfil in time. I made it through solo. I made it to the elevator, and went down as the elevator doors were still closing. I literally crawled out of there alive lol.

I did it solo yesterday in the Complex and it was brutal. Had a 2 plate I upgraded to 3 plate after finishing the Oasis Puzzle. The AI are BRUTAL. Couldn't even risk going deeper then the Chemical Plant

I never fire first. Always Call friendly. And too often take the down. Low levels got the wrong idea being told to go pk for regains.. it’s destroyed what dmz used to be.

First time I went into the complex, I stumbled blindly not knowing what the hell I was getting into; no NV, no self-revives, no ammo/armor crates, just a couple stacks of plates and a trusty AK. Couldn't even make it out of the factory area because I didn't realize you needed a specific key until it was too late lol

it's actually fun playing solo inside the complex. did most of Redacted's Tier 4 and 5 missions with the most effective strategy being hyperaware enough and sneaking around enemy players like you're in Metal Gear

Let me give advice if you're playing solo. Get to COVER, always check your ammo, open any crates that you can find and always use a tear gas grenade or stun because that will give you a little bit of time to move. So if you're prone get to a wall and shoot Don't stand up or crouch and always make sure to check your 6s.

You can use the UAV radios dropped from some bots, there's no minimap but you can see some red marks on top of them

Tip: When in Koschei you CAN see the trap lasers. Just use NVG / Smoke 'em. Imo nvg is better.

I dont know how people have so much trouble here. I solo Kochei all the time for the Tempered vest. If you know how to move and where everything is (layout) this becomes a quick 5 min loadup and exfil. Especially if you hoard keys like me.

Just a quick Info, you don't need to drop your plates when you use the Armor Box, the Box always gives you 6 plates, no matter how many you already have. Also the Voice line "activity is increasing in your area" and lines like that, indicate that enemy Players are within 150m, the comms vest just helps a little since it has a reach of 100m. Without comms vest you still get the voice line and you know its 150m

LMAO that's not true. comms vest would be redundant then. 'activity in your area' or voice line around 'hostiles' is always for bots, not enemy operators. you do not get any warnings for operator squads or platoons unless you have a comms vest on.

I noticed that when I was down to 4mins trying to kill the Rhino and the Sniper both at the same time while dealing with Tier 3 armored guards. Had to bail. The gas didn't affect them either. Had to do it duos, or trios until I got all 6 cases. I was a bit disappointed on what the last case reward was though. 😢 PS. Keep your NVG's on when you're in the Snipers den, you'll be able to see the green lasers for the C4 traps clearly. And STAY PRONE!!!

what is that smg setup you had? Is it an m13b? I'm trying to figure out my loadouts but my smg's are always super good at close range but anything past 15 m is crazy inaccurate. Or they pull 2-3 taps at mid-long rane but the ADS speed is like 2 seconds. Yours looks like a good blend

My secret to the bunker is the 556 Icarus, and take it slow when taking out the tier 3 bots. It makes it so much easier to deal with, and if you need to make a strategic retreat, a path is always clear.

Went in solo a few times. Got the optic and barrel of the heated madness blueprint. Not sure if i can get the other parts solo. Pretty hard. Ised a silenced shotgun for the bots and when i saw enemy mics i ran and hid

I'm now thinking that it's either easier to kill the sniper boss as a solo or the game glitched out on us earlier. I went in today for the first time and I put around 1000 rounds and 6 lethals into him myself, probably about 5000 rounds between the 5 of us " for what felt like 10 minutes of fighting" before he died

Throwing knifes work suprisingly well on sentries it saves ammo and in most cases its faster.

Have you guys tried AP rounds in DMZ? I've been using them for awhile now and I don't have as much trouble with Commanders. I have not done the Rihino yet but I slap AI pretty quick. 3 Mags of AP rounds kills the Jugg. idk how much normally kills as I wasn't killing commanders when i was using regular rounds. I still use the Iso Hemlock just with 30 mag, my regular is 45 mag.

I cleared it with 2 minutes left in the clock first time in. Its non stop enemies the way I went in thru parking garage. Searching frantically for a battery and jumpers lol. I recorded so Ill up it to YT tonight. Oh. I didn't know you could use the night vision goggles, I was just using my Holotherm 😂. I DID extract a large backpack full if Intels, schematics and anything I thought valuable

Ive done a few bunker runs and i really think Shotguns are the play. With how quickly the tier 3 AI can close the distance having something that can 1 or 2 tap them is great

What helped me I found it much easier to kill him using the Shock Sticks cause while he's being Shocked you keep shooting at him back and fourth Shock and Shoot 🔫 hope this helps 👍

Managed to get them all pretty easy last night. The main reward from the gun case is a black and green LA-B sniper and don't look great. U get a cool emblem from it too but also two double xp tokens ahahaha. I think the main thing you wanna aim for in this mode is the vendor and secret Kastov 7.62 Attachments.
