2021 and i still can't move on from how amazing and beautiful this song and how outstanding is Pandora hearts , my favourite manga ever its a real masterpiece , i was disappointed by the anime but still hoping for a good remake of the whole manga, the OST was excellent and i really like the seiyu who worked in the anime, im also a huge fan of Junko minagawa's voice especially when she do boys

I just finished watching it today for the first time. Here's what I wrote for it. "It starts at 8 for me but there are quite a lot of technical stuff I noticed I didn't like or just things I didn't like in general. Saying most of them would be spoiler but 1 of them, Raven says "Damn illegal contractors" as if Oz isn't one. Another one is an alcohol scene, about how their ages work. You'd understand if you get to that scene maybe. Also what they learned about Break, their reaction. They just brushed it off. I like Jack, Oz, Gilbert, Elliot, Cheshire Cat, and Equis. I like how unique the story is. Unique in the level that Karneval is. I liked Karneval more though but I have to rewatch it. The last few episodes of Pandora Hearts seemed out of place, it broke the flow of the story. To find out if it was just me, I looked up the reviews and threads and other people seem to have the same thoughts and it turns out the last 3 episodes are different than what happened in the manga. I could go read the manga and finish the story but the story doesn't intrigue me as much to go read it. Also dang I hate Vincent. So -0.5 for the odd last 3 episodes as well. Also the abyss gives me inside Gluttony's vibes from Fullmetal Alchemist. I give this a 7/10. I would have probably given this an 8 if I watched this back in 2009 or 2010." And yeah Oz's VA did a great job

@@naylisyazwina6836 It's sad to see you give up on the story before it even reached its turning point , its true the anime's last few episodes confused the heck out of people and turned people away from the manga but i hope you reconsider and pick up the manga because the story IS good and where the anime left off is right before things go down and a few things are revealed that turns the truth as everyone knows it around. Theres still so much left to Pandora Hearts including break's character development that you haven't seen yet, as well as Elliot's backstory that was hinted on in the anime and ultimately the truth about Oz and Alice. Mochi Jun the author drips information along the way that isn't what it seems to be. It gets darker and much more tragic than the anime. You are still at the surface of the story so i hope you reconsider, I swear its worth your time!

I'm a bit of an odd ball here. I agree the anime ending left too many things hanging. However, I didn't like the reveal of Jack not really being Oz's ally from the manga. I think what would have made me happiest is if Pandora Hearts did what the Fullmetal Alchemist anime did and just carve out their own path instead of an anime like FMA Brotherhood which could safely follow the manga without contradicting it since the manga already had the ending written. I liked both FMA animes, but I like botherhood better because I wasn't a fan of the ending of the first one, but in this case unlike most fans I don't want a faithful adaptation. I understand the sentiment though.

(This might contain spoilers if you read all of this) Haha, this song is definitely meant for Alice XD If I was an anime watcher and hadn't read the manga, I'd probably think it was for Gil, but you can easily tell when he says "If I'm necessary to you, then I'll keep protecting you" and "I'll keep protecting you." Gil protects Oz, and Oz protects Alice (who protects him back). Oz was pretty much "made" for that reason alone (and to keep Alice company). And the two were together for a while until Alice was "killed." Although the first part of the song could have been meant for Gil. After all, back when Oz was a "child", he was all alone and lonely, and then Gil came along and kept him company along with Oz's younger sister (forgot her name). Or maybe I'm just overthinking it, or just underthinking (is that even a word) this, but what I'm sure of is that this song is meant for Alice, at the least the second half of it.

I think that people who know the end of the manga agree to say that this wonderful character song (Good job, Junko Minagawa !) is supposed to be written for the relationship between Oz and Alice but I think that the song is made to that anyone can be free to have their own interpretation ! After all, even if it seems to be dedicated to Alice, I think that it is also right to say that it suits to the moment when Oz accepts Gilbert as his servant even if he is a "Nightray"... And in my opinion, both (Alice and Gilbert) are important to Oz, to the same degree, even at the end of the manga o/ ( PS: I'm a french girl so I'm sorry for my bad english ;.; )

Regardless of the passage of time, I love this song with madness and leads my top 10 songs that made Junko Minagawa (Oz's Voice and yes, the voice of Oz is a woman) If there's something I like about this seiyuu, it's the tone for his voice in the singing, soft tones and sometimes strong ... I even imagine Ryoma Echizen (Prince of tennis characters, to whom Junko also gives voice) sing this song. There is no day that does not stop listening to this ... is beautiful, sublime and precious... PS: I think it was this song that completely made me fall in love with Junko Minagawa.
