What's your spec? Onimusha games don't require much PC power on PCSX2.

Just played through the Game, it was just as great as i remembered, though it was strange to see chest and enemies through walls, i still prefer the hardware render, it looks much better than the software one

Game looks pretty damn purdy to begin with. This just makes it better. Appropriate timing too, since I only learned that Onimusha 3 had a PC release yesterday. It also happens to be on sale, over on Steam, at time of writing

HALP! the emulator's speed drops to 8% on the PS2 menu. Same in-game, but the game menu seems to work just fine. changed bios several times, tried every single configuration and it didn't work. My pc runs borderlands 2, though, so it isn't so weak.

Don't compare PC gaming with PS2 emulation, they are radically different. Post your PC specs, although I don't think any settings can help you if you get that kind of speeds

Windows 10 Pro 32bit Intel Celeron CPU 847 @ 1.10GHz, 1100Mhz, dual core Intel HD Graphics actually, I read the system requirements on the PCSX2 site (which I didn't before because I didn't know there was much of a difference between PC gaming and PS2 emulation), and I cannot run it properly. Sorry for the inconvenience. Oh, and the emulator says it's around 8%, altough it would seem to be at 40% or 50%, which is weird. It also shows the fps as 27-29.

Only with a software renderer of GSdx and you need a pretty fast PC too

Game Bastard Removing the black lines for random resolution isn't easy or possible in Namco Engine at the moment , the engine designed for PS2 native resolutions , maybe in the near future you would expect some possibility behind the native resolutions by digging deep into the engine and remove the mask behind the black lines .

I play this game on software mode because in this way the game has no graphics errors, and I play at 60fps real in game too and with out lose speed, with your processor you can run the game like me, i have an Amd Fx 8150, I hate graphics errors jaja

+Razgriz Straits Software mode is much more accurate than anything else so it does not cause 'a lot of problems' But it's limited to the game's native resolution yes
