One of the best games of its time right up there with RE2.....it was ahead of its timed..... and still playable to this day. I remember I had a game genie on my ps2, it made this game off the chain

+SomaSaysMeep I heard(and don't quote me on this as I am yet to find official confirmation) that because the characters are based on real people capcom have had issues securing the rights for an HD re-release. Real shame too, I never got to play 2 and 3, so I'd definitely buy an HD package of all 3.

Capcom definitely need to look back to its roots. Resident Evil, Onimusha, Megaman, many of those origins were murdered by the corporate ambition and greed. Shame.

I probably played this game at least 5 or 6 times. This and Onimusha 2. I loved these games. I would almost say I would like a reboot or remake. But I don't want to be disappointed. I love these classic horror strategy games.

Anything Vintage Being able to power up your charecter doesn't make a game an rpg,hell, you can even power up in Call of duty, but I think we both agree that it isn't an rpg ?....Devil may cry is a hack n slash game. An example of an rpg would be "Final Fantasy" and actually, I have been playing videogames before kindergarten(exuse any grammatical errors)

You should try Dragon's Dogma. Dead Rising was fun when it first came out. The original Dead Rising is still fun but dated. Capcom just put out Resident Evil 2 remaster. I have to get it. Capcom could make a great sequel to any of its properties like Dragon's Dogma. Dragon's Dogma is even getting a Switch port.

Playing through this one for the first time in probably 10+ years and it seems to have held up pretty well. Can't explain why but I miss pre-rendered backgrounds. My only complaint is that the targeting system is a bit crude and often causes me to waste my magic based attacks on lesser enemies.

One of the best of the ps2 classic in every way, an excellent combination of resident evil dinamics mixed with samurai and japan history, good gameplay, very challenging and a classic over all. Good memories!!!!

HashBandicoot you can find them in certain locations like anything that's breakable that can store anything but not in the background or in little chests but that's rare

enemies drop health, but not consumables like medicine. it's limited how much you can find in a playthrough.

It's half-right, Onimusha 2, Dawn of Dreams and Blade Warriors are PS2 only at the moment. Onimusha 3 got a PC port but it's so shit that could be counted as PS2 exclusive as well.
