You couldn’t pick locks or fight with 2 handed weapons without a second hand. Unless something impressive was rigged up you couldn’t use the paraglider either. The game would basically be impossible with only 1 hand

Seeing this list, I actually feel so bad for Techland, all of their concepts were really good and cool and it just seems like they ran into so many obstacles during development they didn't get the chance to deliver on their true vision. I hope they're able to continue adding these things to the game over the coming years. Who knows maybe it will become as beloved as the first game was. I respect Techland for delivering mostly great updates but I dont think that DL2 will ever be as beloved as DL1 was/is. I dont know how to say it but DL2s artstyle is just "goofy"... It doesnt feel like a dramatic, dark zombie game.

I get that it’s most likely not but I have a lot of faith in them and I think they’re incredibly dedicated. Im just saying that there’s no way to know what the future may hold for the game and right now I’m feeling pretty optimistic about it and I’m excited to see where they take it :)

I have a theory that the nomad faction might be the second dlc, it could tie in with the fact that Aiden is slowly becoming more and more infected like wich explains why he would live together with these nomads who could perhaps have the same problem. I'm holding my breath for this to happen, I would really love it but I'm honestly not sure if this is what Techland has in mind for the game.

I’m kinda sad they made the factions how they are I wish they were a little more present with faction wars and like seeing the executions in the streets the pks giving out water that’s what I miss when I was watching the e3 trailer a couple years ago from what I saw I thought it would be cooler like you could make decisions that actually affected the game like in the showcase we’re it said so then it showed images of how it would change with the buildings on top of the roofs and to be honest the trailer made it seem it would let you do things with the factions that you can’t like making decisions for them and laws and taking over certain buildings turned them into specialized building this my sound like a endless rant but I have very high hopes for this game and I’m disappointed in what came out I wish eventually in the future they will update the game with a faction overall adding all that.

Actually in the current version of the game you can do a wallrun kick if you press the atack button while you wallrunning, its just that the game doesnt tell you how to do it

Fun fact If you use a trainer(basically a cheat app on single player) and turn on infinite immunity you can go to the chemical wastelands on the edge of the map and there are crystal's with dead bodys under them (Best way to find these is the observetory)

There an assassins creed game where the main character is missing a hand. He made a makeshift hand called the hook blade. In some ways it actually helped him with parkour allowing him to do special moves that the other assassins couldn’t. It was also a weapon if I remember right.

Looking back on what could've been for dl2 is pretty sad honestly. The amount of potential and ambition this game had yet wasn't able to live up to is staggering. I'm thankful for Techland still bringing new game changing updates and all, but sadly more cooler stuff like the cut story missions, scorpio shot, skills and etc. will most likely never see a return which sucks. I really hope when the time comes around for Dying Light 3 to start development Techland really takes their time and makes it the proper sequel to the original Dying Light that everyone wants. I would love to see some underdeveloped concepts/ideas such as the infection fury mode and ambitious story choices such as Aiden's cut hand make a return in dl3, fully realized.

In a perfect world, this game would have come out to everyone's liking and expectations, with no cut content. But sadly, this is modern video game times, and such a thing does not exist. But the good thing is, this is Techland! I am sure they will be added these things, plus so much more (in some way or another) to the game, as they are very dedicated to their community, and love for the game. I’m genuinely happy with the recent update to the game but seeing more cut content like this reminds me of 2018-2019, and I know it sounds like I’m beating a dead horse at this point but it would be wonderful to see more options to make the game more gritty. I love the gritty reshade option and would love to have that dark synth track back aswell, maybe even some building redesigns but that might be asking to much. As for gameplay the ragdolls are still a little rigid and the stun takedowns and camouflage are missing, also when the player reaches the end of the game it would be nice to see whatever faction you sided with takeover the WHOLE CITY every district. (For Example): the peacekeepers take the canteen, or the survivors take the boat, or the renegades take everything turning the whole city into a lawless nightmare.

So I played Dying Light 2 the first time when it came out and did everything right. Moral choices wise. Than I played it through again and made different choices which resulted in the Bazar being out of business, (sucks). But I drained the sunken city and did not liked the drowners that are kamikaze blowups. Not much imagination went into this part of town. You can't go into the apartments. Which would have been interesting. If made right. Now I'm playing it for the third time to stop the story where I meet Veronica to keep the gameplay fun. Do you know how it is to start from the beginning and being used to all the moves you unlocked that don't work anymore because you're basically an infant in the beginning? I almost long jumped off a roof to paraglide. But I stopped myself in the last second. I did died twice in one minute due to falling off a three storey building. But man it is exciting to rebuild. Starting the game again the zombies are a little harder to fight than a half a year ago. Here goes nothing. - Kyle Crane

A good dlc for dl2 would be for the factions after you would complete the game there is more you can do with factions like for the story for that dlc if you chose the survivor ending you merge the Pks with them or destroy them and if you do destroy the PKs then you can get their ship sane thing for if you chose the Pk ending and if you chose the renegade ending then you can take over and just destroy the factions.
