I don't actually agree 100% on what you explained(only agree for case-1). For a person who wants to learn whether its online or regular he/she will learn. just by going to college for 2 years make you zero to hero is not something i can ever believe. If I want to learn something i simply go watch some videos and try to get the experience. similar is the case for management -- go through the content books or online videos -- apply that in real life. I may be wrong but i feel its just the mental block that 'you will learn only if you physically go to college'.

What you are saying is absolutely right. Today, learning is not restricted to classroom for any course including MBA. But the video is with respect to job market, career transitions and immediate growth. People asked these questions only related to job and unfortunately very few actually are solely thinking of learning. A full time program is aligned with the job market, so think about this video from that perspective. I might have forgotten to mention this first!

Secondly, it is always difficult to measure the results through an online program because there are no parameters. SO whether it is equal to a full time program or not, it doesn't matter, the online program can only help you with the learning part and not so great in terms of job change or career growth in near future. For long, it is still beneficial.

Vinay Puri , it will be extremely difficult and I don’t think Online MBA would not be a great idea rather you should go for some financial courses or if you really want to do an MBA, then go for a full time program from a top school, then only it will be possible to switch. If you can’t go for an offline course, then you can evaluate some other options as well - Distance program by NMIMS, Upgrad as well. Check the cost structure and see which one is less in terms of cost because the outcome is more or less same!

You really have to fight your battles and do not go for an online MBA at this stage of your career. It will be of no use at all. Focus on CAT and get into a top or even decent full time MBA program. Feel free to connect with me in case of any concern.

Generally EMba is offered in a hybrid mode and as far as I know, I don’t think you will get an EMBA completely online. Due to pandemic, many schools have changed the format for sometime and switched to online mode but they will again go back to normal.

it's hard to see a direct impact of an online MBA just after you complete the degree. Salary increase will happen with time, so I would recommend you to do some relevant certifications as well such Six sigma black belt, which can enhance your profile along with the MBA.

@@praveenbartwal4903 If you can’t go for a full time program ever, then only take up this distance MBA because it would be difficult not impossible to switch to Finance with the help of a distance MBA program. You will have to work hard to gain fundamental knowledge, but keep this as last option!

In this case, I would recommend you to go for an executive program, which is a blend of classroom learning as well as remote learning. There are some great programs available like these. A complete online MBA wouldn't give you the desired results.
