I have a question: how does a bird sit on her eggs without crushing them? You mentioned that one of your owls was 5 pounds and had eggs, and I'm wondering how much weight eggs can take before they crack. Very interesting video! :) :>

Eggs are actually very strong because of their shape. If you aren't poking them and just placing general pressure on them they hold a lot of weight. How much I'm not sure though!

Hi, could I ask is it possible to train a parent reared owl. I saved him from a horrible life and would love to fly him, can this be done as so many say it can't be done, a small no. Of people say it can.

It would be very difficult to do this and should only be attempted if you have significant training in how to do this and if you possess the owl legally. If you got the owl from the wild, there are few countries in which it would be legal for you to possess the owl.
