So every child was allowed to choose one toy as they were leaving their home after 17 years of living in Czernowitz, Ukraine.
Rabbi Mendy Glitstenstein (my sister in law’s brother) and his wife, built a beautiful community. Yesterday, they were forced to leave, after arranging rides for most of the people in the community to cross the border.
Before the long trip, not knowing when they’ll be back, a prayer with the hand on the Mezuzah…
May Hashem watch over them and on all the people! May peace come to the world!
