had some breaking news with the Wanderer delay to cover today, so the talks about WRC and F1 are tomorrow now. nothing groundbreaking news-wise though, just a discussions about it!

Just wait until you enter one of the cups, Nations Cup and Manufactures Cup are amazing they have a little movie intro before the race which really gets you pumped for the race, plus you get the camera going down the grid at the start showing off all the cars. Never felt so nervous playing a game or in real life as I do racing in these cups. God only knows what a Formula 1 driver feels sitting on the grid! I have a whole new perspective on real race drivers and how they can make what looks like silly mistakes and all the arm chair viewers (me included) groan and call them idiots. One tip switch the map on the HUD to the radar and it will be easier to see what's going on behind you ie. Dive bombers! and yes VR is the way to go!!!

Nice video mate..PSVR2 in GT7 is the only way to race, once you have tried it Flat screen it feels exactly that, FLAT.. I had just broke in to A* in 2D before VR came along, dropped down to high B low A for a little while and just getting back to high A now.. Was just enjoying it and stopped pressuring myself . You have to re train your brain, all the lap guides are great but when x,y or z leaves your screen for exit points don't work.. You have to feel the car more and look for an exit curve as you would in real life, the advantage is you are more aware of anything in front as you are looking around corners not for a bit of scenery or kurb to hit the gas.. Hairpins are where you get the most advantage as your field of view is so much greater... Videos dont even show a third of what you can see.. disadvantage is PD still haven't given us any race info, how far you are off the lead, how you are lapping compared to the rest of the field etc.. a simple add in to the rotary hub or a spotter like AC or i racing can't be that hard to add..

yeah Got my psvr2, 2 weeks ago, already made a ton of gt7 psvr2 race videos lmao, its good, I'm more consistent in the laps almost alien level lap times

Watched your channel for ages, but feels weird watching your first ever GT7 daily race. I played my 1st one the day I got PSVR2, thought you would have tried it ages ago. Its super fun, gets your adrenaline flowing and its so addictive. Personally I would concentrate on getting your safety rating up, avoid battles. It's so much more important than DR in the beginning. Once you are S safety rating you won't get idiot boy racers getting contact all the time. Then you can concentrate on DR. Well done on P7 in your first race, great vid.

thanks for the advice, i’ll focus on that safety rating! I’ve only ever done private lobby racing before as I really wasn’t great at the game, but i’m starting to put more time into matchmaking :)

I have great safety rating but I don't know the meta cars and always end up almost last and usually because someone spins me out the track. I do know most tracks and have almost 300hrs though. I guess I just gotta learn the meta cars for online.

It really doesn't matter what safety rating you have until you hit DR B, you get still get dirty racers at SR A and SR S ratings.

@@minners71 I find even in D and C DR you get cleaner races with a SR of S,. you get the odd dirty driver, but no way near as much as you would if you were C or D SR.

Cool video! I play GT7 casually, i'm not really a petrol head irl but enjoy my (mostly) arcade racing game. I own GT3, played quite a bit back in the day but it was a bit too much tinkering and dull AI racing for my taste. Until... i gave GT7 a chance because, well, VR! And you guessed it, i'm over a hundred hours in already and i'm enjoying my socks off. I never thought i'd play a GT game again but VR makes it so much fun to do all of a sudden! I got my copy of GT7 somewhere in the fall of last year and before that Wipeout Omega in VR was my racing jam on PSVR 1. Turned out this is a more than worthy substitude for that, same level of polish and overall quality of the VR inplementation i think
