Unboxing of Orient's 2023 release, the Orient Mako 40 in Apricot. Yes, this was how they described the dial colour. Please note this comes on a supplied leather pass through strap. I had to pay extra for the Orient bracelet. Aside from the Orient logo, the bracelet was not worth the extra money. There is also an error on the dial that was spotted by one commenter. I was trying hard to make it work. If you are in SG, type Orient Mako 40 and you will see the listing. I'm not sure if they have update it yet or have additional pieces. They do have the lilac piece available still when I was there Saturday evening.

Nice watch. I like the white dial version also. Personally I would put this on a straight end link oyster style with 20-16mm taper.

Nice to see someone talking about this collection it seems to be uknown… I dont like the NATO leather thats a really really bad choice, does anyone know if there are an alternative ( steel imo) and where to buy ?? I love the dial but i really want to replace the strap

I don't have the kamasu for reference, but the bracelet you see here is from another Orient Mako 40 ( new Mako sizing) and the bracelet is not worth the 90 more bucks I paid other than for the Orient logo on the buckle.

And as far as I know nobody has mentioned the 33 marker yet. It's also slightly off to the right. Without looking at the 26 I probably wouldn't have noticed.

The gap for the 33 is poor but I feel it isn't that obviously but thanks for pointing it out. I really am not sure how they got the intervals off by so much

The 26 minute goof has gone from a bug to a feature. Some dealers are getting requests for goof dial.
