It's cool watching someone playing, learning how to read pattern and how satisfying they sound while playing (like this case) and etc Rhythm Games sadly have this image of being extremely difficult to learn and only "talented" people can play (Dark Souls suffer the same) so most people don't try it playing thinking they can't achieve the same level of people they watch (tho they don't need to). Or they just doesn't have interest in playing, that's fine too. I myself was one that only enjoy it before FNF and now I'm playing things like NotITG and Arcaea (although I'm still a newbie).

It has the strictest hit window in any game ever lol. If you don't already have godlike 2-digit millisecond unstable rate on your presses, don't bother with this game, it will thoroughly upset you.
