U just called her weak and feeble😭
@jordonpilling2 жыл бұрын
@@reubenhanks6372 Haha, not at all, that’s the witticism. To understand it you need to understand a bit of the etymology of the underlying speech that Blackadder adapted it from. Specifically, the original words “"I have the body of a weak, feeble woman; but I have the heart and stomach of a…” are taken from a speech in the early 1580’s - specifically, a speech made by Queen Elizabeth the 1st of England to an assembled army in Essex (a male only army). She was expecting an invasion from Spain and was giving her speech to the troops at Tilbury (Essex) - this phrase was an excellent use of irony as she was one of the most powerful people in the world at the time - but she was a woman in the 1580’s addressing a troop of (male) soldiers - who at the time were often misogynistic - this self-deprecating phrase was a brilliant way of her controlling the misogynistic attitudes to gain respect.

@TiMonsor Жыл бұрын
@@li_celly b*tch translates 1 to 1 as сука (suka). female dog commonly used as a derogative, meaning a mean, nasty women and\or a whore. Блядь on the other hand is mostly used as a meaningless exclamation akin to fuck, but originally indeed means a whore, so you are not wrong. There even a debate that it shoud be spelled differently, блядь (blyaD') when used as an exclamation and блять (blyaT') - the apostrophe is here for indicating the extremely mild\soft\light consonant that is shown in russian by the letter Ь (literally named Soft sign) that does not make a sound by itself, it just shows that the previous consonant is very light (palatalization of the preceding consonant.). real question tho is... why did I write all that?

The meaning of "Rush" in Sheet Music Boss' Rush song series is a bit more complicated. it does have Russian ties, but it's actually a reference to the video game Counter Strike: Global Offensive, more commonly known as CS:GO. A common meme in the CS:GO community is a team of Russian players swarming the second Objective area, labelled "B," and speaking the words "Rush B," along with the ever-famous "cyka blyat." I love how simple your UI is. I'm using Counters+ and I can't get the text and progress bar to look so simple and clean :( And of course, great video! Fun to see the progress and yay for completing it!

O. M. G.... Damn! That was amazing! I can't even imagine how exhausted you must've been at the end 😅 Good job!!! 👏👏👏 Also I love it when you talk while casually waving frickin Masamune around 😅😂

Excellent job! However, I do have a correction. Rush E is not quite a just a transposition of Rush B, but rather a different song that follows a very similar pattern 👍
